About: I’ve loved and owned dogs since I was a small child. My first pet as an adult was a cat. Since then, we have adopted and loved a previous military trained explosives German Shepherd, a German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix (recently passed 2/27/26 😢), and also the partial owner of (with my ex-spouse) a police K9 Belgian Malinois. The K9 was brought home at 8 weeks and trained in-house (both at home and at work, but trained by my ex-husband). I love all dogs- big and small. I currently work full time, but work in the office 3 days/week, which makes me have a lot of flexibility to help out during the week and during the day time. My pets have always been considered my children. I am comfortable with leashing and controlling dogs in a variety of situations. I am situationally aware and avoid interacting with other dogs while walking, as I know those are unpredictable situations.
“Ash did a great job with our pets while we were gone. She sent updates and pictures from each drop in. She showed up on time each day and all the animals seemed to love her!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Allison went above and beyond taking care of our two cats while we were out of town!! She sent us pictures and kept us updated every day. We will definitely book with her again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 15 years. I have had 3 dogs of my own, I currently have a puppy. I’ve watched my own, family, and neighbors dogs. I currently work part time as a nanny, I am gone 1:30-4 3 days a week, normally range Monday - Thursdays. I’m available weekdays and weekends. I have a fenced in yard, I have one fur baby myself to keep your fur baby occupied. I can bath, walk, and feed your fur babies.
About: Spending time and interacting with animals has always been a passion of mine. Over the years I helped my grandma run her dog sitting service, taking the dogs for walks and cleaning up the kennels. I also enjoy being outside and taking my own dog for long walks and fun trips to the dog park. My dog is a family member and I intend on treating yours the same way. Your dog will have a great time exploring the city and playing with others at the dog park. I hope to someday have my own place where I can board dogs just like grandma did!!! I spend 90% of my time with dogs and we enjoy playing with other pups at the dog parks, we are traveling nomads and look forward to meeting you My dogs live in my van with me Both are crate trained. I feed my dogs twice a day. They enjoy laying around the house being lazy. Going to the dog park to play with others is always fun too!!! We also enjoy walking

About: I have been around different animals my entire life and have done everything from raising to training. I currently work at a doggy daycare/lodging facility! Im currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! As of now I work 1-8 and get off early most nights. I have a pet friendly dog who loves meeting new pals! If you have a dog who’s possessive over anything I have a ton of experience as my dog is food possessive!
“Hallen was very communicative and took great care of our pup! She was respectful of our space and kept us updated during her drop in, which included feeding our anxious, reactive pup and taking her on a walk.”

“Mackenzie is super reliable and I trust them to give my dog the care she needs and be in my home while I’m at work! I love getting the videos and pictures that they send me”

“Jaron was so good to work with - he sent a picture of our cat everyday & we actually ran out of dry cat food & he picked up a bag for us 😊 We highly recommend using Jaron for your pets - very reliable!”

About: I’ve taken care of a wide variety of animals from large to small and to exotic since I was 13 years old. I have worked for veterinary clinics and a rescue. I am currently unemployed and searching. I am available most days and times. Once I find a new job I will be available on weekends. I will be providing in client’s home care. I will stop in as much as needed to play, feed, and let outside. I know how to administer medication so can do that if necessary.
“Kal is able to handle our cat who is aggressive toward guests when we’re away better than other sitters we have asked to check on her. She communicates well and does what we ask, including giving our cat oral medication in her food.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I have taken care of bunnies, ferrets, hamsters, cats and dogs! I am a proud dog owner myself. I am very comfortable with walking, feeding, and bathing pets. I am passionate and willing to learn all different breed types and what each specific furbaby needs! I am currently a elementary teacher, so I am looking for a way to continue my passion and love for animals this summer through this service. I am interested in doing part-time work. I care for pets based on the individual pet needs. Making sure that the breed is taken into account, especially as it gets hotter outside. I have a doggy pool and hose system for dogs to play in the background. A very quiet neighborhood for walking. I enjoy playing with dogs inside and outside the home to burn off some energy and making sure that they are getting groomed if thats a requirement. I am comfortable with taking multiple dogs on walks.
“Jessica was fantastic! She really listened to our concerns beforehand and took everything we said into account. She gave us detailed reviews for each visit and was friendly to both us and our pets. We will absolutely be hiring her for petsitting again!”

Altoona dog parents share their Rover experiences
Olivia did a wonderful job caring for Milo. She provided great progress photos and detailed updates. It’s clear Milo was well cared for and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in her care and would not hesitate to trust her with Milo again. I highly recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a dependable caring person who genuinely looks after pets as if they were her own.
