About: My grandfather was at veterinarian for 50 years. I fortunately got to grow up living with them & was able to see animals of all ages, shapes & sizes. About: NOTE: Off during summer, but I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available during school, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 4 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! Walking, jogging, or just playing in the doggy pool is no issue at all. My Golden loves to play if yours does! If not, I have the space to separate dogs too. Lastly, I have experience giving dogs meds as some of the dogs in my care have different long term conditions. Please reach out with any questions! I run errands or make plans outside of when I’m taking care of pets. Pet care is my priority while hosting! About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since 2005 my parents had 3 ridgbacks and I haven't known a time when im not the guy to watch someone's beloved animal! About: Hi! I'm Ross, I grew up having Labrador Retrievers as family pets and have always had a strong love of dogs. I like all dogs, big or small! I'm great at responding to a pets needs. I love to give them the attention and play that they want while maintaining appropriate disciple/doggie boundaries ( like not jumping up on strangers). I am good at reading dogs body language which helps to know if they are tired, playful, need to go to the bathroom, not feeling well, or just need some attention! Working from home gives me extra flexibilty to give the pups extra attention when they need it. Regardless of the setting I am able to follow the guidelines that you have set up for your pet.
