About: I've cared for my own and others' sport and show dogs, as well as family pets. I've raised puppies and cared for seniors. I've managed dogs in packs or individually. I've also been grooming part time for 5 years. I have a full time job working Monday through Friday. I have large crates for dogs during work hours and a big fenced yard for playtime. I have a fenced yard and two whippets. I generally feed twice a day and crate when I'm not home during the work week. My dogs play in the yard and I take them for walks to keep them active. We occasionally travel for lure coursing and dog shows.

About: My pets are indoors AND outside because I have safe, pet friendly, separated or joined, sheltered, natural areas where we can all unwind on my seven acres. I'm a retiree who devotes all my time to my grandkids, animals and hobbies. Your pets' needs are provided for at all times whether they are here for a day, week or month as they are included in our family activities. Pets are kept separated or allowed to play together depending on their needs. I provide crates, mats, kennels and even my bed for peaceful sleeping.

About: My friends, family and neighbors have come to me when they need someone to look after their pets. I’ve pet sit for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, fish and reptiles. During the week, I have veterinary school with breaks between classes. I was a vet assistant for 5 years so I gained plenty of experience with a variety of animals. Animal care is one of my passions so walking and sitting in my free time is something I enjoy! I’m am a veterinary student during the week so I’m looking to help walk dogs or pet sit on the weekends and days I get off. I have breaks between classes that I can utilize as well I live in an apartment with lots of trails and parks nearby. I hope to get them outside and walking especially during nice days. About: Yes. I’m a RN with an active license. I needed a pet sitter for my puppy when we got him. I noticed there was a huge need for pet sitters in the area. Pet Paw-rents have trouble leaving their fur babies with someone not only when it’s the first time, but even when you have done it multiple times. I can give you the piece of mind, that is a MUST, while your fur baby is with me. I’ve always been an advocate for anyone or anything considered vulnerable. That’s elderly, handicapped, children, and animals. Because they cannot defend themselves, much of the time. It’s important to be able to recognize signs of abuse/neglect, and stop it. Your pets are consistently given a loving, caring, nurturing stay. They deserve that! It’s hard enough being away from their Paw-rent, home, security, their safe place. They need patience, compassion, understanding, warm smiles, hugs. kisses, and lots of love to help fill that void. I have many years of experience working with animals, as a vet tech with a now retired vet from Waterloo, Iowa, and I used to volunteer my time at various rescue leagues, animal shelters. I can take animals with high needs, including ones needing medication admin, insulin, etc. I love all fur babies/animals. I have always had a pet growing up, including dogs and cats. Animals are such a joy. They bring me happiness! I strive to be the best at what I do! With that said, I know I’m not always going to do things right, to your liking, or how you would. Im not perfect. So please, if you have a concern, are/were unhappy, or simply have some insight to give, let me hear it! I cannot do better, get better, if I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, or could be doing better. Communication and transparency are so vital to me. I don’t say one thing and do another. I try to give every pet a customized, INDIVIDUAL, stay. All animals are unique, and just as different as you and I. It’s not a 1 for all here. I formulate a care plan for each pet I care for, striving to keep them safe, and their routine just as consistent as what they are used/accustomed to. It’s too confusing if you change everything up. What you can be sure of, is I will always do what’s in the best interest of the pet. ALWAYS! Thank you for entrusting your sweet babies with me! I’m currently only doing pet sitting so I have lots of time and attention to give to your pet/babies. Your pet(s)/babies will be my priority. I’m happy to keep detailed notes of your pets stay with me, as well as send photos, and updates often, and as much as needed. I will keep you informed. They will always be in a loving, caring, environment.*** Please know this is my business, so I may have other pets here and booked at the same time as yours. Safety is, has been, and always will be my #1 priority. I have the space and the help to keep dogs separated if they don’t get along or if that’s what has to be done to maintain everyone’s safety, without keeping them locked in a crate or a room all day. Letting them be “free” is what I strive for. This is very important to me as a sitter. I want to be different. Anyone can lock a dog in a crate or kennel them all day. I believe my business is not only better, but night and day difference. Are you a returning customer? First, is I will be offering access to a fur baby can to owners to log in and see what their baby is doing whenever they want during business hours. I am totally transparent and have nothing to hide, therefore I want my pet owners to know they can see their babies whenever works best for them, and it will give them the piece of mind they need. Will be visual, no audio (due to privacy issues) pics and videos will still be done, just won’t need as many. This is coming soon, depending on business:). Your pets are ALWAYS and Consistently given patience,love, understanding, compassion, and treats (lol). I give baths at no cost if your pet is with me for 3 + days. I supply treats/bones, etc. I have a “treasure chest” FULL of dog and Cat treats. Trust me, your fur baby will know exactly where this is! I have a pet and child free home. Only animals are sitter animals. I have a large corner lot fenced in back yard, treated for fleas, ticks, mites, mosquitoes, and other insects, quarterly. Home atmosphere for your pet most of the time. I strive for open and free. No locking them up unless I’m leaving home (which is very infrequently) at night if needed or wanted, crate training, owner request, and most importantly, briefly to maintain safety of all in order to go outside/potty breaks. I strive to maintain a free style sitter service, if having multiple pets from different families are being simultaneously boarded, and there are safety concerns, then I do my best to come as close to freestyle as allows. About: Prices are negotiable. I understand when having multiple dogs it racks up to a lot. I am willing to work with you on prices. I’ve had a dog since I was 8 years old. My love for dogs is never ending. I have been taking care of other peoples dogs since I was 19. I’m available to stay with your dog. I am not available to bring your dog to my house. I believe dogs do best in their own environment with all their toys and their own area. I currently work full time for a daycare in Polk City. I work 10hr days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On the weekends I like to take my sister’s dog for a walk unless I am watching someone else dog I will take that dog on a walk if able to. Majority of the dogs I watch stay at home because they know that area better. Anxiety is very common in dogs that get boarded or are away from home.
