About: I grew up on a “farm” where I was the main one in charge of feeding and watering the animals. We had most of the animals you can think of and probably some you might not. Cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, pigs, goats, a mini horse, quail, ducks, and even deer. I even enjoyed raising caterpillars. I work fulltime Monday thru Thursday, 7-5:30. I would be able to check on pets throughout the weekend, but would not be opposed to checking in on pets closer to home if I were asked. All of my cats are indoor only. All dogs I have watched have been in fenced in yards or had chains to let them out on. I have fed dogs at my friend’s homes separately due to food aggression.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and small animals like guinea pigs and mice. I competed in 4H with horses and I’ve also worked on horse ranches. I’m a certified dog groomer and even went to vet tech school for a semester. I have worked at 2 different vet clinics. I’m always looking to advance in my career with animals I’m currently a full time dog groomer in Ames! My shifts vary but I’m always off work by 6 at the very latest. I have Tuesdays and Sundays completely open usually. Mondays and Thursdays I start work very early but the other days of the week I can stop in very early in the morning if needed for potty breaks. I can just walk them, drop in to visit, or stay for part of a day. I’m even willing to take your pets places in my car if that’s wanted. I’m very experienced with animals and their needs are very important to me.

About: Iv always owned pets growing up as well as in adulthood. Pets seem to sense me as being a good person and friends often ask me to care for there pet when needed because there pet enjoys being around me. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
