“Katrina was amazing! She sent so many updates. She treated our dog like family. He had so much fun playing with the other dogs visiting and was very worn out when he got home! Very trustworthy and great communication! Will definitely book again.”

“Im very happy with the care Joey received during his stay, Brooke gave Joey amazing care! I highly recommend Brooke and Brent. I’m so thankful to find someone I can trust. I will use them again!”

“Our lab, Yeller, has stayed with Steve and Tilaine twice during our summer vacation and he has a wonderful time in their home. They are loving and responsible and treat him like family. He loves playing in their fenced yard with the kids, laying in the sun on their deck, and all the attention he gets throughout his stay. When we dropped Yeller off for his second stay with them, about a year after the first one, he enthusiastically bolted from the car right up to Steve and immediately made himself at home again. They have also been flexible with our return time as our flight was delayed and accommodated an extension of the stay on short notice. Highly recommend this family for your dog sitting needs!”

“Samantha was amazing! She send me photos and updates of Carl and was so helpful to do a late pickup because of my flight delay. I would definitely feel safe and happy if I get to board Carl with her.”

About: I am an avid animal lover who worked as a vet tech for five years. My spouse and teenage girls are also animal lovers! We LOVE to have animal visitors! We have small dogs of our own who enjoy making new pet friends. I am a full-time nurse with very flexible hours and my spouse is home all summer! My teenagers are also available to help with our guests. We have a fenced in yard, and love to take our dogs for walks. Our dogs are very friendly with other cats and dogs. We have a special needs dog, so we are very comfortable with giving medications and other special needs.
“Sam watched my dog Milo for two nights. We did a meet and greet the week prior so Milo and her dog could get acquainted. Sam was flexible with drop off and pick up times and kept me updated throughout the weekend with notes and pictures. She worked through Milo's first night anxiousness and he settled in well by the next day. Milo loved the long walks and puzzles.”

“Roxy was amazing watching Jack, they treated him like one of their own dogs. We will absolutely be coming back! She sent pictures and updates which helped make his first stay easier on me.”

“We’re so grateful to have Elizabeth sit for Rusty when the other sitter canceled our booking in the last minute! Elizabeth provided outstanding care for Rusty and ensured that Rusty’s needs be met while spoiling him as well. She also sent a bunch of pictures and videos of Rusty that we enjoyed so much! Her acreage yard allowed Rusty to run around and exercise as he loves to be outside! Thank you so much for your care! Highly recommended and will definitely use the service again in the future!”

“Our first time leaving our dog with anyone and we were nervous about it, but we couldn't have chosen better people to leave her with. They were very friendly and they kept us updated with pictures and messages and were flexible when I needed to adjust our times. Our dog had a great time with their sweet doggie. Will definitely book again.”

About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I can’t imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently I’m a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. I’m available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. For me to board a pet, they would need to get along with my dog, and she can honestly be a bit grumpy meeting new dogs, so I feel going to the client’s home would be best. I will respect your home and follow whatever instructions you have for the care of your pets.
About: I bring years of experience as a veterinary tech and positive-reinforcement, force-free trainer. I have cared for dogs through every life stage, from neonates puppies to seniors, always prioritizing safety, enrichment, and emotional well-being in a calm, dog-savvy home. In addition to a fenced area, we have 10 acres for walks and individual play time. My work schedule varies throughout the year, but we always have someone at home to care for our personal pets in addition to any other pets staying with us. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I work one-on-one with owners to ensure I can provide individualized care to help every dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home. I provide careful supervision and secure routines ensure the safest environment possible.
About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from local rescues. I recently earned a bachelors degree in animal science and currently attend veterinary school at ISU. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! Pet care is built into my schedule and comes as second nature to me now after being immersed in it for so long. On average, a minimum of 3-5 hours of my day are dedicated to my animals. I enjoy taking my dog on multiple walks a day, of varying lengths, to ensure he has enough mental stimulation and exercise to meet his needs. Training is also a constant in my household, whether that be scheduled training sessions, or simply consistent work throughout daily tasks. I find it important to build a bond with my animals as well as those I meet, and training helps strengthen that bond. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) and training exercises are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied and stimulated. I take pride in keeping my environment and my animals’ clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food and water bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.

I keep a consistent routine with feeding, activity, and rest, which helps dogs settle in quickly and feel at home. I currently work a 8-5 job as a speech therapist with kids, but would be a happy to help after work with any requests you may have and weekends! I will care for your pets AND your home as I would hope someone would care for mine. I have used Rovers of my own for my Oakley and am comfortable with any service you are requesting. I will make sure all of your dogs needs are met.
About: I have been dog sitting for my friends and family for years. I work from home 2 days a week and have a large fenced in backyard. I have a 3 bedroom house located a few block from a bike/walking trail. I would like a dog of my own but my schedule doesn’t allow for that so cuddling and spending time with your dog would be perfect. Your dog will have access to my furniture while I am home. I can maintain a set schedule and provide your dog with love and care while you are away. Your pet would be in a kennel very minimal and have lots of attention. Would just be in a kennel if I need to run errands. I have a large fenced in backyard that your pet will love to run free in. The fence was replaced summer of 2021 after the derecho. I work a hybrid schedule 3 days in an office 2 days at home. My boyfriend is home every Friday, he does not work Fridays. I have a large privacy fenced in yard for your dog to play in. I can kennel or crate your dog at your preference. I have a lock on the inside of my front door incase a dog jumps and opens the door.
About: Spending time and interacting with animals has always been a passion of mine. Over the years I helped my grandma run her dog sitting service, taking the dogs for walks and cleaning up the kennels. I also enjoy being outside and taking my own dog for long walks and fun trips to the dog park. My dog is a family member and I intend on treating yours the same way. Your dog will have a great time exploring the city and playing with others at the dog park. I hope to someday have my own place where I can board dogs just like grandma did!!! I spend 90% of my time with dogs and we enjoy playing with other pups at the dog parks, we are traveling nomads and look forward to meeting you My dogs live in my van with me Both are crate trained. I feed my dogs twice a day. They enjoy laying around the house being lazy. Going to the dog park to play with others is always fun too!!! We also enjoy walking

About: I am a student at Iowa State University, eager to get some good puppy love. After moving from northern Illinois, I miss my family dogs dearly and want to help others with their dogs and give them the attention they deserve. Growing up, I had many dogs and cats, ranging from small to very large dogs. I am also experienced handling less friendly dogs, and am good at making connections with them. I’m currently working part time as a customer services representative at Iowa State’s Recreation Services and do research remotely in a lab at the university. I tend to be able to do early mornings or afternoons! My apartment is safe, secured by multiple locked doors and is regularly cleaned and uncluttered. At a clients house, I am sure to respect your pet’s way of life and the house rules as well.

“We absolutely loved having our Weimaraner, Hollis stay with Jacquelyn and her family! We felt so comfortable leaving her and Hollis enjoyed her time with them as well! There was never a doubt that she was safe and in excellent hands with them. We will definitely be rebooking with Jacquelyn every time we need to leave our Hollis.”

“Olivia did a fantastic job. She kept me posted on how my girls were doing and gave me pictures of them each day we were gone. I will book again with her if she is willing to deal with my crazy dogs again! 🙃”
