About: Hi my name is Blanca! I am a current fourth year veterinary student. I would love to have the opportunity to treat your dog like royalty! I have over 10 years of animals care experience, I am an experienced veterinary technician, and even worked at a doggy day care and boarding facility where I worked with up to 50 dogs at a time in a play group. As a dog mom myself to 3 cute pups, I know how hard it may be to leave your best friend with a total stranger, which is why my promise to you is to treat your fur baby with unconditional love and care at all times! I am a full time 4th year student in clinical rotations that rotate biweekly, therefore my schedule varies greatly on what rotation I am currently on. My goal is to use this platform as a way to spend quality time with your four legged friend, but to also gain extra money to assist me through veterinary school. As an experienced veterinary technician and veterinary student, my number one priority is the safety of your pet. I will ensure that all instructions set by the client are abided.

I care for pets exclusively in their own homes, where they feel most safe, secure, and comfortable. I believe that animals thrive in familiar environments, and my goal is to support their routine with as little disruption as possible. Whether I'm stopping by for a walk or a drop-in visit, I always make safety my top priority. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes before and after every visit, and I keep a close eye on your pet’s body language to make sure they’re feeling calm and secure. I’m respectful of your home and space, and I clean up after myself (and your pet!) so you return to a tidy, happy environment. I take time to learn your pet’s preferences and quirks—what comforts them, what makes them nervous, and how to help them feel loved while you're away. Trust and communication matter to me, and I’ll always keep you updated with honest check-ins and sweet snapshots of your pet while you’re gone.

About: I’ve dog sat for multiple dogs in the past and love getting to bring them to the different places around the area especially the dog park, hiking trails, and stores that allow pets inside! I also would love to treat your pup to pup cups from Starbucks, Scooters, and Dunkin Dounts! I have dog sat for families overnight before and am comfortable with staying at the home. I also have cats of my own and would love to care for your cat as well! I currently work Tuesdays through Fridays with a very flexible schedule in between! My weekends are usually pretty my open and I can work with your pets schedules during my work day as I am able to move my lunch around. I am able to stay overnight with your pets any night of the week, take them on any length of walk, and spend time with them outdoors either in your backyard or at the dog park. I also love to cuddle up with your furry friends and give them the TLC they desire! I also am able to give medications, provide treats, brushing, baths and feeding. I also am comfortable cleaning up after them as well!

About: I have grown up and still have cats and dogs of my own. As well as cared for many other peoples cats and dogs so they could be out of town. I ensure you that I am experienced in the pet sitting field and will make your feline and K- Nine as happy as possible. I am currently a student at Iowa State university so my schedule is very flexible. I will be able to take care of all your pets and homes as much as need or as much as you would like me to! I am willing to commute to homes to care for pets and any thing else in your homes that need a little TLC! I am unable to board pets at my own home but am more than willing to come to yours!

About: I have been dogsitting, catsitting, and housesitting since I was in high school! I also worked for 3 years at a general practice veterinary clinic, working with animals boarding at the facility to provide them care. I have also worked 2 years in the ICU of the Small Animal Hospital at Iowa State, taking care of patients. I am currently working part-time, so I have lots of flexibility with my schedule when it comes to housesitting, walking your dogs, or any care you might need! I am happy to play with your pets, take them outside, and ensure they have company! I cannot care for pets in my own home (territorial cat, oops!) but more than happy to hang out in your home and ensure your pets are happy and taken care of.

About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and have experience taking care of both dogs and cats. Over the past six years, I’ve been responsible for feeding, walking, playing with, and providing general care and attention to my own dog. These last few years I’ve also pet sat for my family members and friends, taking care of their dogs and cats. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and ensuring that they feel well taken care of and loved! I am currently a student at Iowa State University, but everyday I have breaks or long stretches of time where I can drop in on and take care of your pets! I always ensure that I go over with any rules/boundaries with clients and to ask about any additional care towards the pet (like administering medicine). About: I grew up in an animal loving household. My mom is a vet so that helps lol. I have had a pug, Yorkie and a St. Bernard. I currently have a French bulldog and two Frenchie mixes. I also have owned a Ferret and I currently have a snake. I have pet sat in my neighborhood for a while now. I have also pet sat for my mom's coworkers too. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, llama's, alpacas, horses, goats and poultry. I'm here for all your animal needs! I showed dogs in 4-H for 8 years. Showmanship, obedience, and agility. I showed a St. Bernard, French bulldog, German shepherd and a Golden retriever. I also showed my ferret and my snake in the small pet show. I will be in school staring end of August so I will have to see what that will look like for me. This summer I will have another job so I will have to make this work around that. Just contact me and I'm sure we can figure something out. I will have to go to your place to care for your animals. I will be in an apartment starting August and my roommate would not be too thrilled if I had animals over to care for. If you really need your pet at my place for a short time then lmk and I will have to talk to my roommate. I will try to make something work.

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s, friends', and neighbors' cats and dogs since I was a child. I have a knack for getting even the most nervous of pets to feel comfortable around me and most of my friends consider me as their pet’s "cool aunt". I am comfortable with small and large dogs and cats, and I always strive to keep the minds of the pets I’m watching stimulated and engaged. With me, your pet will never miss out on snuggles and play time. I am also familiar with geriatric and disabled pets and I am comfortable giving oral medication. I am currently a graduate student finishing up my master’s degree in wildlife ecology, so I have a fairly flexible schedule at the moment. This means that I will have time to prioritize your pet’s care. While I cannot care for pets in my own home, I will gladly come to yours. I am comfortable preparing food, feeding, and giving oral medication to your pet. Additionally, I will gladly keep up with any ongoing training you are already doing with your pet while you are gone.

About: I worked at a veterinarian center for 2 years, and have 15+ years of experience with pets. I absolutely love animals and can’t wait to meet yours! I am currently working part time so i’ll have plenty of time to play and take care of your baby’s. I love going on walks with them and they will be able to snuggle up right next to me at night! I have a lawn outside and a great walking route where i live. I also have space for your doggies to sleep, play and hang out!

About: I've helped to take care of dogs and sometimes pretty regularly since I was 12. I have experience working with a variety of dog and cat breeds as well as a wide range of behaviors from feral/stray to very people-loving. I have been relied on to walk, feed, and take care of other basic needs of animals. I am willing to bathe your cat or dog if needed given you provide the supplies. I am currently only working about 8-10 hours a week so I am pretty much available anytime. I mainly work on the weekends so my availability will be slightly lower then. I will only be available during the summer as I go to a university that is not close to Cedar Rapids. In your home, I will ensure that your dog(s) is fed correctly, water is changed as needed, and walk your dog(s) at least once a day as well as participate in play. For cats, I will feed them correct amounts, change water as needed, clean the litter box(es) as needed, and provide entertainment.

About: I am an avid animal lover who worked as a vet tech for five years. My spouse and teenage girls are also animal lovers! We LOVE to have animal visitors! We have small dogs of our own who enjoy making new pet friends. I am a full-time nurse with very flexible hours and my spouse is home all summer! My teenagers are also available to help with our guests. We have a fenced in yard, and love to take our dogs for walks. Our dogs are very friendly with other cats and dogs. We have a special needs dog, so we are very comfortable with giving medications and other special needs.

I am currently a full time veterinary student at Iowa State University. I typically am in school from 9-3 with a few breaks during that time. I will take your fur baby out as often as needed. I work as a veterinary assistant as well as an animal caretaker for all the boarding animals.
