About: Former vet assistant. I welcome anxious, shy, senior, and special-needs pets. I understand how stressful it can be leaving your pet for the first time. I take a calm, patient approach and keep routines as consistent as possible so both you and your pet feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m happy to provide extra updates and check-ins if that helps you feel more at ease. I handle the majority of bookings and day-to-day care. Eliott helps as needed or requested. Please let me know if you need constant care for your pet as this is different from a regular house sitting. I set my own schedule so I am pretty flexible with times and days. Most days, I am free from 7 am until 10 pm. I prioritize maintaining the pet’s familiar routine to minimize stress. I also follow any specific care instructions provided by the client, including medication administration and house rules.

About: I am an avid animal lover who worked as a vet tech for five years. My spouse and teenage girls are also animal lovers! We LOVE to have animal visitors! We have small dogs of our own who enjoy making new pet friends. I am a full-time nurse with very flexible hours and my spouse is home all summer! My teenagers are also available to help with our guests. We have a fenced in yard, and love to take our dogs for walks. Our dogs are very friendly with other cats and dogs. We have a special needs dog, so we are very comfortable with giving medications and other special needs.

About: Multiple employments at veterinary practices >8000 hours working and handling all sorts of pets, mostly cats, dogs and small mammals. Dog training experience as well, not certified and mostly with police K9s I work full time, but once a month I work from home so I can very flexible those weeks, however, able to sit after work and on weekends. I will work around the pets needs and what you allow the pet to do at home as well. Very flexible here with whatever is needed.

About: I helped take care of my family’s two senior cats. I assisted in giving them medications, cleaning their ears, and grooming their matted fur. I have cat and dog sat for friends and family (both young and old animals). I ensure they have plenty of food and water, clean litter boxes, go on walks, and spend time with them playing/cuddling. I am back from college for the summer and have plenty of free time on my hands! I am free to dog or cat sit until the end of August. I plan to be attentive to your animals and enthusiastic to spend time with them. I have no specific requirements but would love to chat more after booking the appointment.

About: I've cared for my own and others' sport and show dogs, as well as family pets. I've raised puppies and cared for seniors. I've managed dogs in packs or individually. I've also been grooming part time for 5 years. I have a full time job working Monday through Friday. I have large crates for dogs during work hours and a big fenced yard for playtime. I have a fenced yard and two whippets. I generally feed twice a day and crate when I'm not home during the work week. My dogs play in the yard and I take them for walks to keep them active. We occasionally travel for lure coursing and dog shows.

About: I’ve taken care of animals from all age and size. I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was born and have a lot of experience in dog sitting! I’m currently a sophomore at Iowa State studying Criminal Justice. When I’m not in class I love spending time with friends, going for walks, and being with animals! I make sure my dog doesn’t go outside alone and we always make sure they are on a leash when being walked. I make sure to put their safety first!

About: For several years, I’ve cared for friends dog while they are away and needing someone to provide care, either extended in home stays or just popping in. I had a dog when I was growing up, and I loved being able to take her on walks and little adventures, now I just have cats. I enjoy walking dogs and taking them to the park for some enrichment and exercise! Providing some time during the day to keep your pet company is something I love to do. As a pet owner, when I'm away for longer than normal, it always makes me feel better knowing my pets have someone to check in on them, so I love to do that for others when I can! I currently have a very flexible schedule, so I am available for daytime care during the work day, as well as last minute care needs! I am happy to take dogs on walks, or to the dog park, and provide engaging play and attention. For cats, I'm happy to follow their cues, hanging out nearby, providing opportunities to play, and come get some affection if they want. I pay close attention to animals and their needs, responding quickly to any cues they are giving me about what they may want or need. If a dog seems stressed, we will head back home and get back to a comfortable space. With cats, I always let them set the pace and get comfortable.

About: I have nine years of pet care experience. I raised and showed Rex rabbits for 4 years. Personally I have trained and care for my own dogs. After High School I work in an Animal Hospital. My duties there included receiving the animals for appointments, prepping and assisting in surgeries, keeping accurate records, cleaning and sanitation of the facilities. I am available to care for pets full time as I am looking to make a career out of caring for pets as I pursue a position as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician. I would be able to care for the animals in their own homes keeping them safe in the comfort of their own space and environment.

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 4 hours a day. I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and ensure the pet experiences minimal disruption to their normal routine. I am also comfortable administering medications if needed and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.

About: My friends, family and neighbors have come to me when they need someone to look after their pets. I’ve pet sit for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, fish and reptiles. During the week, I have veterinary school with breaks between classes. I was a vet assistant for 5 years so I gained plenty of experience with a variety of animals. Animal care is one of my passions so walking and sitting in my free time is something I enjoy! I’m am a veterinary student during the week so I’m looking to help walk dogs or pet sit on the weekends and days I get off. About: I have worked at a vet clinic for 6 years and have experience with many breeds of cats and dogs. I have been trained in the nutrition and medication of pets. I am currently a full time veterinary student at Iowa State University. I typically am in school from 9-3 with a few breaks during that time. I will take your fur baby out as often as needed. I am confident in medicating and monitoring sick or geriatric dogs/cats. I am also able to exercise them as much as they may need!

About: I provide experienced, reliable dog care focused on dog walking and drop-in visits. I'm available for house sitting on the weekends. I grew up around working dogs, helping my grandfather and stepdad, who were coon dog haulers. From a young age, I was responsible for feeding dogs, cleaning kennels, and learning how to read behavior and body language. As an adult, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs, including nervous and reactive dogs. I also fostered a dog with aggression issues, which gave me real experience with triggers, stress signals, and safe handling. I focus on structured walks and drop-in visits that support a dog’s natural needs—sniffing, movement, routine, and mental stimulation through enrichment activities. I am home-based and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of timing needs, especially mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on the day. Meet-and-greets are required to ensure safety and a good fit for every dog. When boarding, I prefer to have smaller dogs due to living in a duplex. I can have 1-2 at a time. My dog gets along with most dogs, it seems he prefers dogs his size and smaller. I am experienced in walking 2-3 dogs at once. I have learned how to deal with dog fights and aggressive/reactive dogs through training. I have plenty of time for walks and Drop in visits. I would love to play with your pups and spend quality time with them. I will treat your home with the utmost care and your pet with affection.
