About: New to Rover, not new to pet care. My golden retriever Annabelle has trained me well. I know the drill: the zoomies that need burning off, the "I definitely didn't just eat" stare, the way every dog thinks their routine is sacred (it is). I've also got two guinea pigs, Mimzy and Pip, so I'm no stranger to smaller, more delicate care too, if that's ever part of the mix. I care for pets of all shapes, sizes, and species. Big, small, fluffy, scaly, I've got you! I help pet parents actually enjoy their time away with peace of mind that their animals are okay. Walks around the neighborhood are already part of this routine, and I'd love to bring your dog along! When I care for your pets, their safety is my number one priority. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure so pets can't slip out unexpectedly. I keep your contact details on hand at all times, and I do a quick safety check of the space before I leave. If anything ever went wrong, I'd contact you immediately and get your pet to a vet right away.

About: Hi! I'm Ross, I grew up having Labrador Retrievers as family pets and have always had a strong love of dogs. I like all dogs, big or small! I'm great at responding to a pets needs. I love to give them the attention and play that they want while maintaining appropriate disciple/doggie boundaries ( like not jumping up on strangers). I am good at reading dogs body language which helps to know if they are tired, playful, need to go to the bathroom, not feeling well, or just need some attention! Working from home gives me extra flexibilty to give the pups extra attention when they need it. Regardless of the setting I am able to follow the guidelines that you have set up for your pet. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have always had a passion for caring for them. Growing up, my family had two Saint Bernards and a Yellow Labrador, which gave me experience with large breeds from an early age. Today, I share my home with an English Springer Spaniel, a Throwback Pomeranian, and a couple of reptiles, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of animals and personalities. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve been pet sitting for the past six years for friends and family. I understand that every pet is unique, and I strive to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or sticking to their normal routine, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and am currently available early mornings, afternoons, and evenings. When school starts, I’ll also be available during the day, giving me even more flexibility to care for your pets! I know your pets are family, and I care for them that way. When I’m in your home, I’ll respect your space, follow your instructions carefully, and make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. About: I've had dogs since the day I was born, and responsibly started taking care of them since I was around 10 years old. I've taken care of dogs from 8 weeks old to 16 years. As an adult, I've had 2 dogs and have cared for them in their crazy puppyhood to more gentle yet demanding senior care. As your dog sitter, I can provide enrichment via walks, playing, and basic tricks and skills you want me to work on with your dog. I can feed and refresh water bowls. I can help with medication if needed. I am happy to care for any of your pets' needs during a visit. I treat my all of my pets like my children and I am so excited to start caring for yours! I am a teacher currently on summer vacation. I am free to work during the week and some weekends from around 11-3 for drop in visits or walks. Once the school year starts back up, I may be available during holiday breaks and some weekends. Expect thorough reports and cute photos after a sitting or walk. As a regular user of Rover services myself, I know what I like and want from my sitters, so I will put that into my work. I will enter the home however is most comfortable with the client and lock the home back up when I leave. All walks will be leashed or contained in a stroller. I do not offer off-leash walks for the safety and liability of myself, your pet, and anyone we might encounter. If your pet is crated, I will crate them again when I leave. I will only enter spaces necessary for the care of the pet.

About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for my own Vizsla. He’s an active dog, so I’m very comfortable keeping up with high-energy pups and providing plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. I also regularly run long distances with my dog, so I’d love to take your pup along for an adventure or simply give them a fun, active walk! Most importantly, I’m responsible, attentive, and committed to making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. 🐶🐾 I currently work part time as a personal trainer most afternoons from approximately 3-8pm on week days, and 8am-noon on weekends! So I will be most available to exercise/ check in on your pup in the early mornings or late nights!😊 I live on a small lake in Bondurant with a fenced in yard and a VERY friendly Vizsla puppy named Cash!! I’ve loved every dog I have met and have never felt uncomfortable or intimidated by any behaviors. Cash and I are extremely active as well whether it’s running marathons, bicycling, swimming, or just playing around and I transfer over this experience with every dog that I provide for!😊

I love getting outside for walks and spending time with animals, so it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure to stick to the pet’s normal routine as much as possible. About: I've had cats my entire life, and my husband and I currently have two amazing but SUPER high energy little kitties named Eli and Finn. We are very obsessed, and they're spoiled! I have grown up in a very close, tight-knit family with LOTS of dogs and cats, and I've pet-sat more times than I can count. I LOVE animals and they tend to like me as well. I have experience with feeding, medicine, walking, vet visits, picking up animals from pet hotels, etc. I pet sit, house sit, and babysit for a lot of my family and friends, have been a nanny to my godson who has medical complications, and am well-trusted. My husband and I are going through fertility treatments, and the profit from my pet-sitting business will be supporting us in building our family! We would deeply appreciate your support while your pets receive great care in exchange! I'm in ministry school to become a hospital/hospice chaplain, a worship leader, and an entrepreneur, so my schedule is very flexible! I look forward to meeting your schedule needs. I am not able to keep pets at my home. I am able to go to the house site and take care of your fur babies, however, and spend time at your place to give your darlings some affection, give medicine, or whatever else you need done!

I love to play with them, take them out for walks, and provide them with love and pets. It’s important to me that they are not just physically cared for, but they are mentally stimulated through play and emotionally cared for at every visit. I'm always mindful that all pets should be greeted with a slow introduction, that does not come off as intrusive, or threatening. Even the most social pets, can behave differently when an unfamiliar person enters their home while family is not present. I always take that into consideration upon each visit, as I get to know your dog/cat, and build a trusting relationship. Whether your pet goes out on a leash, uses a fenced in yard, or requires potty pads to go to the bathroom, I'll follow your instructions as discussed through the Rover app, or during our initial "meet and greet". Requested information about your pet -Medication schedule -Behavioral issues that may affect walking your pet on public sidewalks, history of biting or aggression while being fed. -Ongoing medical conditions -Vet number and/or emergency contact I currently work on a hybrid schedule - 3 days in West Des Moines and 2 days at home in Ankeny. I have a flexible schedule where I can pop around to your pet when needed. I have a heart for animals along with the patience needed to give quality pet care. Your pet will always come first and I would treat them as if they are my own.
