About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.
About: NOTE: Off during summer, but I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available during school, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. About: I've had dogs since the day I was born, and responsibly started taking care of them since I was around 10 years old. I've taken care of dogs from 8 weeks old to 16 years. Having Bella stay with Missy made us feel at ease, allowing us to enjoy our trip to the fullest knowing Bella was in good hands.
