Before beginning our walk, I will make sure any harnesses and/or leashes are secure. I will also ask dog parents if there is anything special I should know about their dog before I take them on walks (ex: doesn’t like a certain part of the neighborhood, likes to lunge at squirrels, etc.).

I am a mom to a mini aussie/border collie mix who is FULL of energy and a rescue terrier mix who is a big cuddle bug. I think walks serve as a great way to exercise and bond with your dog, while also providing her/him with a sensory-filled experience.
