About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with working dogs, big dogs, feral cats, farm animals, and everything in between. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks (in the Ankeny/Polk City area) or weekend check ins in the metro, while you are out and about being social. My husband works blue collar, so sometimes I have a lot of time to myself while he’s working, I’d love to fill in with walks at night or weekends in the Highland Park/Saylor/Beaverdale areas. Some nights he may even join if he’s home. I am always very cautious when going in for my furry friends for walks, making sure they are safe. I’m full of love and attention and energy to burn so I’d love a buddy. I’ve worked with highly trained dogs, and will honor any and all training your dogs follows.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I had my own pup since I was 2, and he was truly my best friend. I cared for him through his senior years, giving him meds, comfort, and gentle support right up until he passed on Halloween. Because of that, I understand how to be patient, loving, and calm with older dogs, and I treat every pet like family. Your dog will get real care, attention, and kindness with me. I’m currently looking for a job, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available any day of the week for dog walking and pet sitting. When caring for dogs, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and loved. I follow their routine, give lots of attention, make sure they’re fed on time, and keep their space clean. I also have a fenced-in backyard, so dogs can get fresh air and play safely. I’m patient, gentle, and always pay attention to their needs so they feel at home with me.

I have a flexible schedule where I can pop around to your pet when needed. I have a heart for animals along with the patience needed to give quality pet care. Your pet will always come first and I would treat them as if they are my own.

About: Interacting with animals has always been the highlight of my day. I have a decade of professional experience with pet care, primarily dogs and cats, but small animals and exotics as well. I have a beloved senior dog and a giant day gecko at home, but I grew up around a large range of animals, including dogs, birds, lizards, frogs, rodents and sugar gliders. I also have a bachelor's degree in biology with a particular interest in animals and plants. As a result, I have the experience, knowledge and passion to provide the high-quality care you're looking for. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means that I am able to devote plenty of time and attention to your animals. I will keep in touch with you while your precious pets are under my care, so you won't have to worry about their safety and comfort. About: I’ve been fostering adult dogs for the ARL for the last few years and have had so much fun getting to learn about a variety of breeds, personalities and behaviors. I’ve also had many pets throughout my life, including my current fur babies Raven (dog) and Lilo (cat). I’m currently working as a freelancer and am available throughout the day. I do participate in recreational sports on some evenings, otherwise I can be very flexible! I love to be outside and enjoy nothing more than letting dogs unwind on a long walk. I’m also happy to play fetch or tug, go to a nearby park or engage in whatever style of play your pup prefers.
