About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since 2005 my parents had 3 ridgbacks and I haven't known a time when im not the guy to watch someone's beloved animal! Might as well get paid to do something i love! I am a disabled US Navy Veteran in my late 30s. I work out of my garage and am home based and will have lots of time for your animals in my house and fenced in yard Large fenced in yard, I have cats but they have rooms to hide if your dog doesn't like cats, I have a bloodhound that loves to play with others and is a sweet boy and sleeps about 22 hours a day 🤣
About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I had my own pup since I was 2, and he was truly my best friend. I cared for him through his senior years, giving him meds, comfort, and gentle support right up until he passed on Halloween. Because of that, I understand how to be patient, loving, and calm with older dogs, and I treat every pet like family. Your dog will get real care, attention, and kindness with me. I’m currently looking for a job, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available any day of the week for dog walking and pet sitting. When caring for dogs, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and loved. I follow their routine, give lots of attention, make sure they’re fed on time, and keep their space clean. I also have a fenced-in backyard, so dogs can get fresh air and play safely. I’m patient, gentle, and always pay attention to their needs so they feel at home with me.

About: I’ve always been around cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve mastered the process of giving medications. I’ve volunteered in a shelter some years ago and I learned a lot while I was there. I’ve trained all of my current and past pets and even helped some friends with theirs. I craft my own pet food in my kitchen to ensure all nutrients are available to them. I take pet health to a very serious level! Currently, I’m just in school So I have plenty of time. I’m available Mon- sun at 10am, 3pm, and anytime after 5pm! Friday is the only day that I’m available at 11am rather than 10am but I’m free for the day after 11am. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. I take time to learn their personality, feeding schedule, litter habits, and any specific needs before caring for them. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure everything is left clean and secure. I’m also attentive to doors, windows, plants, and anything else a curious pet could get into. I give pets plenty of attention and playtime while also respecting them when they need space. If they need medication or any extra care, I’m comfortable handling that as well.
About: NOTE: Off during summer, but I work weekdays throughout the school year. Still available during school, but pets will be at home without me on weekdays for about 7 hours. I have owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have cared for small dogs <25 pounds all the way up to large sized Great Danes > 200 pounds. I have been fostering dogs for Safe Paws Iowa for the past 4 years. I am available for a large portion of the summer because I only coach softball outside of the school year. I am very active and would love to share that energy with dogs! Walking, jogging, or just playing in the doggy pool is no issue at all. My Golden loves to play if yours does!
