“My cat, Avocado, got so much love at Angela's house! I really appreciate that Angela has a good system for keeping cats separate from the small dogs if that's what you want for your cat. Avocado stayed in a lovely furnished basement (with windows) during the day and spent the night up in the bedrooms with the family, so she had her own safe space while still getting plenty of human interaction. It was so fun to get pictures of Avocado cuddling with them and making herself at home. I boarded her there for almost two weeks and she was in good health and great spirits when I picked her up. I immediately rebooked to board her at Angela's again during my next trip!”

About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

About: I have been a pet parent for over 15 years. I currently have a 4 year old German shorthair pointer named Draco and a 11 year old cat named Rubeus. Draco is a big goofy lover. About: I have had animals in my home since I was a child. I got my own puppy about 10 years ago and trained him to be a guard dog during my time as a missionary in west Africa. “Katrina kept our two boys in her home for several days while were out of the country and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We visited her home twice before our trip and felt very reassured. While we were away, she was in regular communication and sent lots of photos. One of our guys has a recurring eye issue and it flared up badly while we were away. Katrina took great care of him. She took him to our vet and administered his medications. We were very worried about him and are so grateful to Katrina's family for taking such great care of him. I'd booked the incorrect dates and Katrina was flexible, making arrangements to extend our reservation. Katrina provided us (and our boys) an exceptional experience. We would not hesitate to book her again and recommend her unequivocally!”

“I think Missy has got to be the best sitter my dog Bella has ever had. Not only did Missy welcome the challenge of a spicy chihuahua but she mastered it. By the end she let her hold her! “This was my first time using Rover and I was pleased with Jessica’s quick response time and enthusiasm to meet and care for Blanca. The process was easy and drop off went smoothly. Jessica’s dog was in a kennel when we arrived to make drop off less stressful for both dogs. The pups were introduced after we left to get their sniffing done on neutral territory (on a walk out front). We received photos and updates during our whole time away and knew Blanca was happy and safe. We would be happy to use Jessica again in the future!”
