“Jessica was great! We were out of town 4 nights, and then our flight got delayed and she was able to adjust her schedule to stay a 5th night to take care of our dog. She sent photos and updates at least twice a day and I felt better knowing I had someone here at our house to care for our dog (instead of boarding him). Our dog has some anxiety and allergy issues and she took care of all his meds and gave him lots of love and cuddles. She also washed all the bedding, towels and took the trash out (which she didn't need to do but did it anyhow). Highly recommend! Thanks again, Jessica.”

About: I used to walk a Yellow Lab when her owner broke her arm. I have volunteered at the ARL and was in the "walking the pavement" program. I am currently looking for a PT job so I have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I love walking dogs and playing catch with them My cat is very friendly and loves everyone! Most notably, I’ve been a consistent caretaker for two energetic black labs for the past 8 years. I’ve also cared for fish, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon. Once I start my position, I’ll be working 8 hour days in Urbandale (if you’re close to that area I am more than willing to spend my lunch breaks with your pet). Sophia did an excellent job watching our two dogs while we were on vacation. One of our dogs is very anxious and requires extra time to warm up to strangers. Sophia was flexible, maintained a calm demeanor, and did several drop in visits prior to our departure to ensure he was comfortable when we left. At the end of our trip, our return home was delayed a day. Sophia was able to cover us and extend care for the additional time. I would recommend Sophia to anyone, especially those with anxious pets.
Words cannot express the appreciation I have for Eric. I have high needs animals, and I am pretty sensitive about the way they are worked with. Eric took the time to come and make sure my dogs were comfortable with him and that I was comfortable. He recommended setting up a google drive file for he and I to communicate as the days approached. I will continue to use him as I need support and I would recommend him to anyone!
