About: I used to walk a Yellow Lab when her owner broke her arm. I have volunteered at the ARL and was in the "walking the pavement" program. I am currently looking for a PT job so I have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I love walking dogs and playing catch with them My cat is very friendly and loves everyone! Most notably, I’ve been a consistent caretaker for two energetic black labs for the past 8 years. I’ve also cared for fish, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon. Since I have a full time job, I’m able to provide care anytime in the evenings and on weekends, and if your pet is able to do longer stretches alone in the home I would be a great fit for you! I work 7:30-4 Monday-Friday in Urbandale (if you’re close to that area I am more than willing to spend my lunch breaks with your pet). Once I’m back from work for the day I am ready to play! Coming home to an animal friend is one of the best feelings, and I want to give your pet all the love possible! I feel very comfortable being away from home. Jennifer was great to work with from the start! Super friendly, professional, affectionate towards our pets from the beginning. She spent as much time as she was able with our pets, rather than just quick check ins. We could easily trust that they were being taken care of while we were away! Sophia did an excellent job watching our two dogs while we were on vacation. One of our dogs is very anxious and requires extra time to warm up to strangers. Sophia was flexible, maintained a calm demeanor, and did several drop in visits prior to our departure to ensure he was comfortable when we left. At the end of our trip, our return home was delayed a day. Sophia was able to cover us and extend care for the additional time. I would recommend Sophia to anyone, especially those with anxious pets.
Angela did such a great job watching my three pups over the Fourth of July weekend! My weimareiner has anxiety, and Angela pulled out all the tricks to keep her calm with picture updates. She was also kind enough to bring our packages in, (they weren’t small..) and she cleaned up the house before our arrival back. Her attention to detail in the home, communication skills, and seeing how my three pups warmed up to her are all the reasons we would recommend her to anyone else. We will definitely be booking with Angela in the future!
Nadine was great! She stayed with our dogs while we were away and made sure they felt comfortable.
