Lauren was great! Communicated regularly and the boys really seemed to enjoy their time with her. I've already rebooked her again!

I was disappointed with this most recent booking with Lauren. We'd previously booked her for a house sitting and were happy to see her available again. However this time we had several issues. Our dog is very easy to care for but she does have a consistent schedule that she has become accoustomed to that we try to follow as closely as possible. This schedule was very clearly laid out in the detailed instructions I provided for Lauren. However the schedule seemed to be rarely followed, with Lauren feeding flo at odd times and skipping walks. Additionally, she regularly took other dog walking or drop in bookings while she was sitting our dog, and seemed to prioritize the other bookings over care for our dog, which was very frustrating, particularly given that she had not communicated that she planned to take other overlapping bookings ahead of time. Had she done so I likely would have looked for another sitter. I don't expect to sitter to be at our house 24/7 but I do expect caring for our dog to take priority when you're booked as a sitter and she was regularly gone for 4-5 hours at a time multiple times a day, including around meal times or in the evening when we usually let the dog out for her final bathroom break of the night. It also seemed like the majority of the walks were extremely short based on our Ring camera, with Lauren starting the walk and then returning only 2-4 minutes later in several cases. I do not expect mile long walks every day and I know weather can cause issues, but our dog is used to getting at least 10-15 minute walks at minimum on the majority of days (which was explained in the instructions), and I don't think a single walk for the entire sitting was that long. As a result of all the issues, we will likely not consider her for future bookings. To Lauren's credit once I raised this issue and expressed my dissatisfaction she was apologetic and did a better job over the last couple days of the sitting, which I appreciated. She was responsive and sent a lot of pictures. She also left the home clean and in good order.

I’m glad I found Lauren to take care of my dog. I was very comfortable with her, as was my dog. While I was away, I got timely updates and photos of my dog enjoying the yard, walks, and pets. It was obvious that Lauren truly cares about the dogs she watches. I would definitely book Lauren again for our next trip. If you’re looking for someone reliable who will take good care of your dog, I recommend her!
