It’s my belief that dogs are just the best companions in the whole world. They’re always so fun to spend time with, and they’re always there for you no matter what. I love spending time with them, training, them, watching them learn… really just anything that puts me next to a pup! I truly believe that dogs make the world a better place, which is why I’m committed to creating as many puppy smiles as possible. Making dogs happy is just one of the many ways that I like to give back, so being a sitter really is a dream come true for me. I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, but my dedication to pups doesn’t just end there! I have been a dog sitter and walker on Rover for 4 years now and have over 14+ years of experience as a dog owner or handler. I wouldn’t trade a second of it for anything! I’ve learned so much in the process, and getting to bring happiness to loving pups is always such an amazing experience. Currently, I have a 6-year-old “Chi-Weenie” who is my life. I grew up with a large standard poodle, and I love pups of all shapes and sizes! I have experience with aggressive dogs, as well as dogs with difficult personalities. I know how to approach a nervous dog so that we can meet comfortably with treats and just turning my body sideways, no eye contact and a lot of patience. It’s all about making your pup as happy as can be! One of the best parts about me as a sitter is that I have a very open schedule, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup. I am currently a contractor delivery driver, so my schedule can revolve around my dog walking and sitting. That means that I am free to spend as much time as possible with your pup to make them happy as can be, or work around unorthodox schedules. Whether that means spending time with me and my pup or just cruising out and about, we’ll make sure to have plenty of face time together so they feel right at home with me while you’re away. My number one goal is just providing excellent customer service, no matter what! To accomplish that, I believe that communication is of utmost importance. I keep a report card to keep track of anything worth mentioning on a daily basis including: feeding, behavior, and energy level—or anything else out of the ordinary. I’m happy to take detailed notes on whatever you need to feel that your pooch is happy and healthy. I also send pictures on a daily basis so you can see how much fun we’re having together! Lastly, you can be assured that your home will be cleaner than when you left it (if I’m taking care of your pup overnight at your home).
