Hi there! I’m Sarah, and here’s some information about me: I have received a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science as well as a non-degree diploma in Companion Animal Nutrition. I am currently working full time at the Blank Park Zoo. I have owned pets all my life and have years of volunteer experience at animal shelters. I have been pet-sitting since 2013, and on Rover since 2016. I mainly do house sitting, drop-ins and dog walks. During college I was in a local foster program where I fostered cats and helped them find forever homes! I previously worked as a Kennel Technician in a vet’s office and gained ample experience in animal care, medicine administration, and grooming. I am comfortable bathing, grooming, walking, and playing with your pet, as well as administering medications if needed. I will treat your animals with the love, kindness and respect they deserve. I look forward to taking care of your pet!

I offer pet-sitting in your home. I find this is great for animals that are older, anxious, do not like being separated from their owners, or have difficultly with change. I require meet and greets before all house sits. At meet and greets, I will meet with you and your pet to make sure we are a good fit! Feel free to show me around the house, where I will be sleeping, any rules of your house, etc. Please disclose any cameras. If needed I can bring in mail and packages, as well as take out trash/recycling bins. These are just as much a house-sit as a pet-sit, so rest assured your home will be well taken care of! I can water plants as well.

Sarah did great with our big dog! I appreciate the peace of mind having her here and she was very respectful of our home.
Sarah was a reliable sitter, she came every day to see our two cats, Squash and Noodle. She took really good photos of them and they seemed like they were enjoying her visits with them. She played with them every day. We were gone for two weeks and were really nervous about being gone from them for so long. Our cat, Noodle, had recently been having bouts of cystitis every other week for reasons we haven't determined and we were worried that our last minute vacation would trigger another bout. We had a big cage set up for Ms Noodle and had Sarah let her out during her visits. After the first week, Sarah was prompt in letting us know that ants had gotten into Noodle's food and that she hadn't gotten cystitis yet. So we had Sarah just keep her out of the cage the rest of the vacation. Sarah also went and found our ant traps and put one in the cage and locked it to take care of the problem. She made sure that the cats feeders were working properly and made sure they had fresh water and clean litter every day. We really appreciated her help last minute since we had only a week to plan our trip.
Sarah took great care of our two kitties while we were away for a long weekend! She was lovely to work with, good communication, etc. Would definitely book with her again. :)
Sarah is the most wonderful sitter! My cat, Sam, loves her! Highly recommended!

Programa
Please note that I work full time, my days off are Friday/Saturday. On the days I work (Sunday-Thursday) I will be at work from 8-4:30, and will not be able to drop in during my lunch break. Typically with house sitting I will come by right after work to feed your pet and let them out to potty/take them on a walk. I may have additional drop-ins during your house sitting as well, which I do in the evenings after work. I will disclose these ahead of time if they are already booked, although I do occasionally take last minute drop-in bookings. If I do not have any additional drop-ins, I will still be gone a half hour to an hour in the evening to run home and feed my cats. I guarantee I will be there overnight with your pet and for as many hours as I am able to! Please consider this before moving forward with booking.
