About: I enjoy going on long walks to grays lake. So I can allow dogs to get their energy out! I have a 3 year old Weimaraner, and also used to have an Australian shepherd. I’m familiar with all different breeds! My parents have 3 dogs and bred a couple times so I have also experienced taking care of a bunch of puppies. I work full time during the week until 4, my dog stays in a kennel when I am not home and spends the evenings going on long walks and also play time at the dog park at my apartment complex. She doesn’t sleep in her kennel she gets cuddles all night! If your pet is trained well and doesn’t need to go in a kennel, I am okay with letting them be out and roam around.

About: I'd love to be your professional pet sitter! When I'm with your fur baby, they are my full-time concern. I'll send you pictures of your happy pet while you are away. I know animals miss their humans, and I do everything I can to make their stay-cation with me enjoyable while you are away. My clients call my home the Petz Carleton. I am privileged to have so many furry friends return. It does my heart proud when they come running up to my front door for another stay-cation at their home away from home. You can rest assured that no one will give your loved fur baby more attention and better care than I will. Taking care of others' pets so they can relax while they are away is my mission! I'm retired, but I do some freelance writing work, which takes eight or nine hours a week. My writing never interferes with my focus on your fur baby. I walk every day in my beautiful neighborhood and would love to have your pet's company. My schedule is open. I will ask lots of questions about your pet and take notes. I'll also want contact information for you, your vet, and a trusted friend. About: I’m a dog lover and have two corgis of my own who are both very friendly with other dogs and people. I’m used to caring for dogs every day, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention and cuddles. My dogs are social and welcoming, so your pup will have some friendly company while staying with me. I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and treated like part of the family while you’re away. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s normal routine and any special instructions you have! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to give your pup attention, playtime, and care. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after 5PM. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I have two friendly corgis, Sushi and Boba, who can provide companionship if your pup is comfortable around other dogs. I keep a close eye on all dogs during outdoor time and can crate or separate them when needed. I focus on providing a calm, clean, and safe home environment for your pup.

About: I have had several dogs in my life. I take care of my daughter’s dogs which are unique in one as scared of everyone and would bite an arm off. One is a vizla need I say more. Hyper as can be. One is small but thinks he is the boss. Love being able to help others as I love to travel and know how difficult it is to find someone to watch the dog. My dog Bella barks at new dog and then does her own thing. I am currently retired so my day is filled with pickleball, bike rides and dog walking. I love to hang on the porch with a book and a dog beside me. I have an invisible fence that Bella doesn’t need a collar for since she knows her limits. They hear the noise and won’t go through it. But would take on leash until they are trustworthy. If client kennels I kennel. If client doesn’t I don’t. Pretty flexible with whatever client needs.

About: I grew up as a farm girl and worked hard! I've always been around farm animals and our dogs and cats as long as I can remember. I took care of family and neighbor pets and did so also in my adult life. right Right now I'm working a couple of part time jobs. I would be available over most weekends. Once and a while over a 5 day period. I can do drop in check ups and potty breaks in middle of day and after 6 evenings. ok I would mainly be doing the sitting in the clients home as well as just stopping in for just potty breaks and well check-ups. Once in awhile I could do care in my townhome for small pets over the weekend.

About: My ability to love animals is a gift that I want to share with others. I have had a dog, hamster, ducks and a cat and all are the most happy animals I have met. I go above and beyond to make them all comfortable and feel loved! I currently am blessed to have a senior lab, Cokie! She is truly my soul dog and my best friend. I take care of her everyday. I also help with my neighbors, family and friends pets! I respect the household of others, if you give me rules they will be followed. About: I’ve always been around cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve mastered the process of giving medications. I’ve volunteered in a shelter some years ago and I learned a lot while I was there. I’ve trained all of my current and past pets and even helped some friends with theirs. I craft my own pet food in my kitchen to ensure all nutrients are available to them. I take pet health to a very serious level! Currently, I’m just in school So I have plenty of time. I’m available Mon- sun at 10am, 3pm, and anytime after 5pm! Friday is the only day that I’m available at 11am rather than 10am but I’m free for the day after 11am. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. I take time to learn their personality, feeding schedule, litter habits, and any specific needs before caring for them. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure everything is left clean and secure. I’m also attentive to doors, windows, plants, and anything else a curious pet could get into. I give pets plenty of attention and playtime while also respecting them when they need space. If they need medication or any extra care, I’m comfortable handling that as well.

About: I grew up with many dogs, and currently own two giant Newfoundlands that are basically my full time job outside of my full time job. They love other pups and so do I! I typically like to do most gigs on weekends, but I do work from home and can accept some dog boarding cases during the week occasionally. I have a fenced in backyard with some stairs going down from our deck. We have two very chill newfoundlands that get along with most pups, but a meet and greet is required to determine that.

About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I am also committed to ensuring that any client who has special accommodations for their pets gets those wishes granted and will do everything in my power to make sure the pet has a great time with me!!

About: I have a basset hound, the most stubborn of them all. I am used to food thieves, and shenanigans! I have done canine hospice care and fostered senior dogs through a rescue shelter. I have also done pet sitting in my home, including a Doberman all last summer while his owner recovered from surgery. I meet your dog where they are striving to stick to their routines no matter if in my house or in theirs. I work outside of the home 3 days a week so I am home the majority of the time to spend time with the dogs staying with me. It also gives me plenty of time to schedule house visits for pets at home needs care. I strive to stick to your dog’s routine when staying at my place. If they sleep in the bed at night they can sleep in my bed, if they crate then we will crate. I have a dog and a cat that don’t mind sharing their space as long as they have their personal space.
