Hi, my name is Jessica! I have been around dogs my entire life and have enjoyed caring for our own, friends, family and professionally for the past few years full time. Our family currently has one Pug (Brinley). Don't let her size fool you, she loves to play with all dogs no matter what size! Our family started our Rover journey after using it personally when we needed someone to watch Brinley. We loved the home environment and thought it was a great fit for our girl. Getting the one-on-one attention in a not so overwhelming environment, was so important to us. I've spent years training and caring for dogs of our own! From Pug’s to Mastiff’s, i've worked on basic obedience, crate training and etc. I love to find out what you as an owner are working on at home, as we strive on working on the fundamental skills while you are away too. I love seeing our puppies and enjoy watching them grow! Over the years, we have enjoyed our dogs that run laps around the backyard, but also love the ones that just need a great resting spot on the couch. We want to be the best home away from home! We started this journey in our West Des Moines location, but have learned that we needed to provide a bigger spot for our furry friends! 10 mins west off Cumming/Norwalk exit. We currently offer drop off times (7-9:00am) & Pickup times (4-5:30pm) Monday - Friday. Weekend pickup/drop off is scheduled by appointment! To ensure that we are providing the best and safest care in our home, our family is state licensed, bonded and insured through the state of Iowa. We offer Full Time Doggie Daycare throughout the week (Monday - Friday ) and dog boarding drop off. During our daycare time we offer plenty of yard space to run and play, but also work on getting dogs out into their favorite spot (Nature!) and working on building that confidence! We frequently visit dog friendly spots in DSM area (Some local spots we like to hit Raccoon River, Gray's Lake, Nearby Trails & Parks, Dog Friendly Retail spots, and etc!) We are always asking what you are working on home to continue striving with this outside. I always strongly encourage meet and greets for first time guests to ensure it's a great fit for everyone! This is where we open our home to your family as this is the place where we want them to be most comfortable and start getting familiar with surroundings. I have found this is so beneficial during drop off periods and ensuring that your dog is in the perfect spot while you are away. I also encourage a trial daycare prior to a longer stay to ensure it’s a great fit and that your dog will be comfortable in a new environment for a longer period. Safety is a number one priority and our door is always open wide open to all great pups and families! Always a phone call away if you have additional questions. Jessica is a wonderful dog sitter - we’ve left our girl with her for day care and over night sitting while attending family events in west Des Moines. Our girl is always cheery and upbeat when we drop her and pick her up!
Happy dog, happy dog mama! Not everyone loves my wild child, but he was loved here and he loved being her in return. He was safe and well cared for. My only concern was if he would ever want to come home.
My little man has found his new happy place. I’m so grateful for the excellent care.
Our puppy had a great long weekend! She had lots of friends to play with and she as well taken care of!
Daycare at Jessica’s is just what my dog needed!! We are away from home and loving on a stressful environment for the summer. I felt he deserved a break. After the first day, he couldn’t wait to go back. My bossy dog can be a handful, so I have been very pleased with the close supervision and the way they have reminded him how to play with other pups politely. I feel he is safe and he is certainly having fun.
Received regular updates on how my dog was doing and it seemed like she was having a good time! Came home tired and a little dirty as to be expected after a rainy week. I'm very satisfied with the service 😊

I currently work from home full time, so know your pet is ALWAYS in the best hands! From feedings, medication and loads of playtime, I've got your pet needs covered!

I have a fully fenced yard! Plenty of room for your pet to run and play with the best of the best! Separate feeding locations provided for safety and breaks. In home play area included, where your pup is fully supervised and able to burn that energy indoors when weather is cooperating!

On a typical day - we start everyone with some backyard time to get everyone moving and get those zoomies out! We have a great trail system around our home, with plenty of opportunities to get out into nature!
