“Bailey came and watched my dogs for a few hours while I went out. I have a new puppy who had only been in my family for 4 days, and I was too nervous to leave her alone for a few hours. Bailey was great. She sent lots of pictures and took the puppy out for potty breaks several times (because of small puppy bladders). “This was my first experience using Rover and Ali was great. She was SO GREAT at communicating. We talked through my request (just stopping through her town for 2 hours) and she even accommodated me when I made a last minute addition of my parents dog. Ali and her husband were so great with the dogs (both 70 + pounds) They kept them entertained and made sure they were nice and cool during the 80 degree weather. I was nervous leaving my senior, blind dog with someone I hadn't met, but Ali treated Ox like he was her own and it was such a gift to not worry about him for a few hours! Thanks so much Ali!”

About: I've had experience with all kinds of animals from cattle and horses to dogs, cats, and rabbits. I'm currently an undergrad student at ISU geared towards pre vet studies. I'm available in the mornings before class, and in the afternoon after class. On Fridays I am available after noon and majority of my weekends I'm free for pet care services. I can care for pets in clients home while respecting the privacy of their house, the only thing I ask is that I'm allowed to work on some homework or study while carrying for a pet.

“Emily was amazing! She was so great with our two Akitas. She came to meet them with us to get to know them and their routines. We got daily pictures and updates and was always available by phone. We rarely leave our dogs at home but when we do Emily will be our first choice!!”

“Taylor was amazing with our two corgis! One pup just had major emergency surgery and was healing great but was in a cone and on activity restriction + needed his incision checked daily. We had a trip planned that we thought about cancelling but knowing Taylor was very experienced in animal care we felt very comfortable with her watching our pup post-surgery. She provided lots of updates and was super quick to communicate with. We came home to happy pups and were able to enjoy our short trip knowing they were in such great hands. I’m the first to admit that I’m a helicopter dog mom and can be very picky when looking for a house/pet sitter and I’d recommend Taylor to anyone!”

About: I have lots of pet care experience including personal pet sitting(4 years), pet daycare employee(3 years),veterinary clinic employee (3 years) and I am currently attending Veterinary School. I have availability before 8am and after 5 pm on weekdays, with some time in between (time varies dependent on the day). I’m willing to work with you to figure out an appropriate schedule. Happy to provide attention to your pet whether that’s some cuddles, playing fetch, or even going for a nice long walk! I’m also experienced with dogs who have some stranger dangers fears so I know how to move slow to make your pet comfortable.
