I was a little nervous at first if this was going to work out because Sarah, like all dogs, doesn’t like it when we go away. In addition, she had an upset stomach. But my worries were put to rest, as Courtney sent a picture of Sarah and a summary of how things were going, with each visit. I truly appreciated that! Sarah was perky when we came home . It’s obvious Courtney has a love of animals and a caring disposition. We will be hiring her again, now that we have peace of mind! Thank you Courtney!!”

“I have know Jennay since she was very little. She was my neighbor, as when she got older she often came over to help with yard work and taking care of my critters. The animals loved her, she was kind and obviously loved them too! She was not afraid to do the dirty work (scooping poop) or the fun stuff like grooming. She helped with horses, dogs, donkey and goat and was great with all. I work with a non-profit that provides equine assisted therapy, and Jennay volunteered to assist at several of our kids camps. She is as good with kids as she is with critters! I would not hesitate to put my furry family in her care!”

About: I am a college student and I love dogs. I have a dog of my own and have been taking care of friends/family dogs for over 5 years! I am a college student on break so I am available anytime during the day for walks. I walk my own dog every morning 2-3 miles and am willing to take walks as long as requested! I live in an apartment with my puppy so I don’t have a yard. I take my dog for walks around my neighborhood every day.

About: I grew up on a farm and have grown up with many different species and varieties of animals. I have taught small animal and agricultural courses for 5 years in high school. I also have fostered dogs as well. I am currently a college student taking courses online. I work mornings at Menards from 5:30am-10:30am. So I will always have time for your pets! I have a dog park outside of my apartment complex and lots of space in my apartment to spend time with your pets. I have a kennel for smaller dogs already from fostering as well as basic food dishes, toys, treats, etc.

About: I'm an experienced animal caregiver of many species. I have owned dogs for about 10 years and have lots of experience administering medications and providing specialized treatments. I have worked previously with mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, etc and currently own chickens and dogs. I'm comfortable providing a nail trimming service and bathing if requested. I love meeting new furry (or scaled or feathered) friends and hope to hear from you soon! I work full time in Ames but would be happy to care for your pets around my work schedule. I may be available for dropins before or after work in Ames on a limited basis during the work week. Please ask for details. I am willing to petsit outside of my listed range for an added fee. I know that consistency can be very important, I will do my best to uphold whatever training and routines you ask me to follow while providing plenty of snuggles and playtime.

About: I have had dogs over the years as well as a cat. I currently have a dog and a cat. I also have taken care of my friends and family’s pets over the years. The longest I have to pet sit was 1 week. I am currently looking for a job as me and my fiancé have recently moved to Iowa. I am free throughout the week for morning and afternoons, I also can be available on the weekends. I have two pets, a cat and a dog. I love taking walks and would not mind taking a furry friend with me on my walk. I have dealt with a lot of different types of pets small, big, energetic. And I don’t mind accommodating for your pet is they need anything special.
