About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life—growing up in a pet-loving home taught me how to care for animals with love and patience. I’ve also volunteered at the humane society, where I gained hands-on experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. Over the years, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and coworkers, providing everything from walks to overnight care. I truly treat every pet like they’re my own. I work a sales job Monday–Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to around 4:30 PM, and I travel locally (within an hour). I always make sure I’m available before accepting any bookings, so your pet’s care will never be compromised. I’m available for evening walks during the week, and I’m open to overnight house sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I’m very aware of my surroundings and always prioritize your pet’s safety, whether we’re out walking or relaxing at home. I’m great at reading animals’ energy and body language, which helps me respond calmly and confidently in any situation. I follow any instructions carefully and always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years before I became a stay at home mom to my daughter, Jordan I love this opportunity on Rover, because it joins my two favorite things—animals and the outdoors. This is a great way for me to teach my daughter animal husbandry. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is flexible. My daughter usually tags along with me. She is also an animal lover. I currently do not own any pets so I am free to take care of other animals. If I need to check on an animal, I usually spend about an hour with them. (Letting them out, feeding and watering, snuggling). If I am walking, I will walk for an hour. Or an agreed time frame.

About: Over the past 35 years, we've had three dogs who lived to 13, 14 and 15 years. We are very familiar with older dogs as well as young dogs and enjoy playing with dogs. After the loss of our last dog, Lucy, we decided to take a break from having another dog as we were empty nesters. We love dogs and were encouraged by our grown children to try Rover. We live on a quiet street near the York Harbor Beach and our house is far from the road with woods all around us. I am a regular daily walker and would love to have a dog to walk with me on occasion. I am familiar with the regulations on leashes, beach hours and waste bags. We are generally home on the days we accept pet sitting to take care of any visiting dogs. We became pet sitters because we enjoy hanging out with dogs. We have a large backyard surrounded by woods far from roads as well as a home that is dog friendly. We live about 2/3 mile from a quiet beach and it is a perfect walk for most dogs.

I am a very active person and love taking dogs on walks and am a reliable person to contact and trust with caring for your dogs! I work from home 2-3 times a week and am around most weekends and I would love to have some furry friends around me while I work and can take on walks during my breaks and after work. I can accommodate how you prefer your dog to be cared for and have a big yard with room for your pets to run around and exercise. I have family members with friendly dogs that are often at my house as well to give your puppies some occasional friends to play with!
About: Have lived with dogs and cats my whole life (over 45 years). Currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I currently also take care of our friend's dog about once a week. In the past, I have: watched and walked dogs for friends and family; fostered multiple dogs at our house; volunteered at a dog shelter helping to walk dogs and other various tasks; and have taken many of my current and past dogs to multiple dog training courses. Routinely work from home so can help throughout the day and also can stop by and help out in the early morning or in the evenings.
