About: Over the past 35 years, we've had three dogs who lived to 13, 14 and 15 years. We are very familiar with older dogs as well as young dogs and enjoy playing with dogs. After the loss of our last dog, Lucy, we decided to take a break from having another dog as we were empty nesters. We love dogs and were encouraged by our grown children to try Rover. We live on a quiet street near the York Harbor Beach and our house is far from the road with woods all around us. I am a regular daily walker and would love to have a dog to walk with me on occasion. I am familiar with the regulations on leashes, beach hours and waste bags. We are generally home on the days we accept pet sitting to take care of any visiting dogs. We became pet sitters because we enjoy hanging out with dogs. We have a large backyard surrounded by woods far from roads as well as a home that is dog friendly. We live about 2/3 mile from a quiet beach and it is a perfect walk for most dogs.

About: I have had a variety of animals all my life and currently have a cat and dog! I’m a fast walker, and used to dogs that pull on the leash. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time throughout the day to care for animals. I am a very outdoorsy person, so we are always outside with our hound, Pippin. I have a small fenced in yard, a young playful dog with LOADS of energy, and a convenient walking trail seconds from my back door!

My experience administering medication I've done my fair share of administering medication to all sorts of animals. I am able to administer oral, injections, topical ointments, as well as suppositories. About: I’ve grown up with a dog by my side my whole life. I’ve also taken care of dogs for friends and family and been relied on to walk, feed, and check in on them.
