3. Michael D.

“Mikey is patient, kind and takes amazing care of our two dogs, a German Shepherd Dog and a Mini Poodle. He is attentive to their individual needs and always ensures that they receive the proper exercise and attention they deserve. He has a natural way with animals and knows how to keep a dog happy, safe, and well-exercised. I have seen a noticeable improvement in our dogs' behavior and overall happiness since we first got our pups. Mikey keeps our pups on a regular schedule with not only feeding times but exercise as well. We enjoy taking them on hikes, running at the beach and just playing around. Any pup would be lucky to spend time with Mikey. I trust him completely with the care of our dogs, and I feel confident that he would provide exceptional service to any pet owner. I wholeheartedly recommend Mikey for any dog walking position and am certain that he will bring the same level of dedication and care to any dog he works with.”

4. Carrie K.

5. James W.

“James was amazing! He went above and beyond and his son taught us a new trick, that we have been working on with our pup! Would absolutely have James watch our pup in the future!”

6. Emily R.
About: Hi there, My name is Emily, and I grew up surrounded by a variety of pets—a basset hound, a Great Dane, two Jack Russell Chihuahuas, a German Shepherd, and I had a kitty cat for 16 years. I also had the pleasure of house-sitting for 3.5 months in Oxford, Maine, where I cared for an old pit bull named Loki. Living in Maine has only deepened my love for animals, and I’d love to help out with your furry friend. I’m currently a caregiver here in Maine, and part of my role includes looking after my clients' animals during the day. I’m now looking for part-time work to make some extra cash and spend more time outside. I have my own car and am flexible with time. With Maine’s beautiful nature all around, I can’t think of a better way to enjoy it than by walking dogs and caring for your pets. I would be more than happy to help out with your pet, and yes, I absolutely talk to animals! Thank you for considering me. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your fur buddy! Best regards, Emily Russell I work as a caregiver during the day - hours vary. Please message me for more information on my current schedule. Thank you so much. In my clients home - I do not offer services at my own personal home. I am fine with watching a clients pet at their home or walking them.

7. michelle a.
“Michelle is amazing with animals. She has watched our dogs multiple times and even got our reactive dog to like her! There is never any worries when Michelle walks or watches our 2 dogs. I highly recommend her to everyone.”

8. Savanna P.

“This was our first time having Savanna watch Yoshi since since we are new to the area and it was too far of a commute for Yoshi’s previous sitter. I’ve used Rover for years and have found some hidden gems, and Savanna is one of them. Savanna was very communicative and kept us updated with photos of their evening. Yoshi isn’t a difficult pup to watch, he’s quite lazy, but he is particular about who hangs out in his house, and there were no complaints! He loved having her here and so did we. It is such a relief to find someone you trust with your pup. Highly recommend booking with Savanna. We definitely will be using her services as Yoshi’s permanent sitter! ?❤️”

9. Michael S.
“Mike watches my dog about once a week and has been for the last few years. He does a great job. He lets him come over to his house and my dog plays with his other dogs all day. This is kind of a unique situation as I wouldn’t expect Mike to allow all dogs at his house but he does a great job of ensuring my dog is safe, healthy, and tired by the end of the day.”

10. Justina M.

“Justina stayed at our home over the holidays and took excellent care of our two dogs, Baxter and Ivy. We received updates and photographs every day, which put us at ease while we were away. Together with her daughter, the dogs had lots of time for games and even learned new tricks! We would recommend Justina to anyone looking for outstanding pet sitting.”

11. Martha S.

“Martha and her other rover pup stayed in my home for a week to take care of my 13+ year old black lab Sammy. Everything was perfect, Sammy was pampered with walks, treats, pets and a new friend! The house was immaculate upon my return!”

12. Caroline T.
“Caroline is my mother and every family dog I’ve had in my life, she has absolutely been their favorite person. She has so much love for the dogs that have been in her life and I have the utmost confidence that she will treat any dogs the same way. I absolutely recommend you check her out if you are looking for a dog sitter!”

13. Amanda R.
About: Hello! My name is Amanda I am new to the Rover community, but am absolutely excited and love every type of pet! I am currently working a job 40 hours a week and am looking to pick this up on the side. I've watched neighbor's pets, my sister's dog, as well as homes for long periods of time. I am reliable, consistent, easy going, and communicative. Although I am new to this site, I have great work ethic. It's extremely hard to find a sitter you can trust and I believe I can provide that. I am open to taking your pet for walks, watching the house and/or pets, as well as stopping by and hanging with them for periods of time on the weekends as well as afternoon/evenings. I am extremely excited to get to know you and your pets! If you have any other questions please contact me directly so we can further discuss. Although I work a 40 hours a week at my normal job, I just moved to the area and I’m looking for part-time work! I get out of work between 330 and 4pm most days so the afternoons I have free and also weekends! I am unable to care for pets in my own home but safety, trust, and environment is super important to me! I will always follow instructions and Will always respect the house rules and guidelines provided.

14. Emily G.

“Emily was great @ coordinating with both my mom and myself when we were both out of town (and my dog was staying with my parents.) She was able to handle my skittish little dude, and he was happy when the folks came home.”

15. Teresa H.

“We did a little one night test run with Teresa for our pup who has pretty bad separation anxiety and it went so well! Our very excitable pup was instantly calm upon meeting Teresa for the first time and settled in so well. Teresa is super communicative and we felt totally comfortable having her stay in our home. We’re so glad to have found a reliable sitter!”

16. Alexandria P.
“I’ve had the pleasure of seeing firsthand how incredibly responsible and loving Alexandria is with animals. She is an active and outdoorsy person who loves going on adventures, and I know she would do the same for any pet in her care. Whether it's hiking, playing, or just giving them the attention they need, she always goes above and beyond. Her attention to detail is impeccable, and she’s always ensuring that pets are well taken care of, comfortable, and happy. I've personally seen how much cats and dogs adore her, and it's clear that she has a special connection with animals. They trust her, and I’m confident that any pet she looks after will receive the same level of care and affection. I believe Alexandria would make an amazing pet sitter on Rover, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for the role!”

17. Amber Q.
“Amber has been a go to pet sitter for some time. She has been great at tiring out my hyper pup with nice runs and frequent hikes. I am very picky with my dog and have a lot of rules but she has been really thorough about following them. I was relieved to see her ability to handle my dog from the start and they have become best friends. I fully recommend Amber as a responsible and respectful dog sitter and walker.”

18. Gabrielle L.

“Gabrielle was great with Bronco, she sent regular picture updates and followed all of our instructions. She also left our home exactly how she found it which is very much appreciated! We will definitely book her in the future for the next time we travel!”

19. John O.
“John is a dog lover! Our dog immediately runs to him, tail wagging, waiting to be picked up and snuggled. He is kind, has done lots of work with animals in the past, and would make an excellent care giver for people’s dogs!”

20. Anastasia E.

“From our meet and greet all the way through my trip I could tell Anastasia is awesome! She loves the dogs as if they were her own and made sure to send plenty of updates along the way. She also cleaned up some of my clutter which was very nice to come home to. The dogs can't wait for me to book with her again!”
