Faith sent photos + videos making it clear that she was playing with Copper + giving her lots of attention. She is training to be a Vet Tech and that was a big plus for us when trying to pick which dog sitter. She knows how to handle rescue dogs (ours was a stray from Georgia). We are in our 70's and she is young and full of energy...she could really keep up with our 6 yr old pooch! “Tara watched our rambunctious dog Wes for four nights at our home and we couldn’t be happier with the care she gave him. She bonded instantly with him (which says quite a lot actually for our dog), was in touch every day with updates, and improvised on food when some of his food ran out. TRa also discovered a broken nail and was prepared to take time off from work to take Wes to the vet, although we elected to wait and see. She was professional and caring, everything you could ask for in a pet sitter. I would recommend her again in a heartbeat!”

About: Growing up, my family always had at least one dog in the household (boxers, a lab/pitbull mix, aussies, and even a chihuahua). Going to school in Boston, my roommates and I dog walked one dog daily and dog sat for a total of 4 others. Moving up to the seacoast area, I have begun volunteering (walking, fostering, and assisting with events) for a local shelter in my free time. This has included puppies as young as 2 months to larger mature dogs for anywhere from a sleepover to as long as 2 weeks. I work full time Monday through Friday but have some flexibility with my hours. Outside of work I stay very active but I am eager to work some dog time into my schedule. I cannot have dogs at my residence due to rental requirements but am happy to take dogs on walks/adventures and dog sit wether that be for a few hours or days at the dog’s/client’s home.

I love to get them (and me) out for a walk especially on a beach or nearby trail. I also have a lot of experience caring for senior dogs and can match that energy level as well! If you need references I will be happy to provide them from Wallis, Teddie, Stella, Franklin, Buna, Wally, Tater, Judy, Kaya or Koda. I work from home so would not be away from your dog for more than an hour or two. If your dog likes the car, they can join me on errands/adventures. Or we can stay close to home for walks or snuggles. I care for dogs in their own home to keep them in familiar settings and routines. Important to know if they can be let outside in yard off leash or not, feeding times, what time is typical for wake up.

About: I love dogs! I get so excited each time I see a dog ... the same way a teenager does to their first love, or a man to a new grill/smoker, or a woman to a Christmas craft fair. I'd love to make your pet feel loved and cared for when their favorite person (you!) is away from home. I lost my sweet, sweet girl to a brain tumor November 2025. While I'm not ready to take on a new dog of my own, I'd be so pleased to care for yours while you're away. You can be sure I will treat them with care and affection, same as I did for my own. Each dog is different and I will do my best to cater my care to their needs, safety, comfort, and (healthy) stimulation. My home is small but the love inside it is not. I can provide walks of whatever duration/frequency your dog needs, car rides to new sites/sounds/smells (if you approve), and 'bonus bites' of foodlove (again at your approval). Pets are allowed on furniture and beds. Above all I will respect what you tell me the boundaries are for your pet. I know what it's like to be away from your 4-legged best friend and will provide daily updates with pictures but if you want more often than that, you need only ask. About me: I've helped train 6 puppies and helped with dedicated senior care on two of my own dogs (including soft tissue injuries and a brain tumor diagnosis with resultant seizures). I grew up in a house with a dog from birth to college and actively helped take care of them. Since 2006 when I graduated college I have had two dogs and each have solely relied on me for their care including health problems, surgery healing, etc. Smoke free, child free, cat free home. I am comfortable with all sizes, ages, breeds, and attitudes of dogs. I am comfortable administering oral and rectal meds but would not be a good fit for someone who had a dog needing an injection (sorry!). I am comfortable with dogs who are very 'high maintenance' on their med and feeding schedule as my own brain tumor experience can attest to how exacting, detailed, and difficult that can be. My calendar should always reflect when I'm available to help. I typically work M-F 6am to 5pm and am flexible to accommodate you outside of those times. I'm able to provide house sitting services at your home OR weekend boarding in my home. First - what you want for your dog matters most. Please communicate training, behavioral, food, outing, and other expectations and I will do my very best to check every box! After that - I care for pets by putting the pet first and giving them as much love as they'd like! I live alone in an apartment up a flight of stairs. While I can provide some help up the stairs, it would be ideal if larger dogs can do a flight of stairs multiple times a day. In my home I do not leave anything dangerous down. Specifically, I'm in the habit of not leaving food down due to my own food-hound. Trash is covered and frequently dumped to avoid trash calamity. A bench at the bottom of my bed with a rug under it ensures safe jumps from floor to bed. Rugs make the living room more comfortable for pups. I can lift dogs in and out of cars when required (as I did for my own sweet girl). Walks employ harnesses to safeguard the throat and trachea. I have pet gates to isolate pets if owners request (healing/safety). I'd speak to owners about acceptable treats, food schedule, medication schedule, and any furniture rules. Please note I have uploaded pics of my new home onto the app and put them near the top ... but many of the existing pics you see with other pets are inside of my past home.

Growing up I have always had at least one pet in my house, but when I was 7 I started actively taking care of them, which only increased my adoration for them.
