“I’m new to using a dog walker. Finding Deb was a wonderful surprise. I was able to leave knowing Ollie and Penny would be safe, happy and well cared for. I would highly recommend Deb to anyone needing help with their pups.”

“Nicholas has been lovely for both of my dogs. He clearly ADORES dogs - and I feel like that is really good for my dogs to be around. His enthusiasm, but also his desire to do the walks just as I like, has made him a pleasure of a dog walker!”

“Candace is great with my two dogs and so easy to work with! She’s extremely knowledgeable about dogs including the special needs of Giant Breeds which is wonderful. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm Lauren! 🐾I’m a lifelong animal lover and dogs have always been one of my greatest joys, I'd love the opportunity to care for yours. My goal is to provide dependable, personalized care so you can have complete peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and loved while you're away. 🐾I'm the proud owner of my five-year-old rescue dog, Rex. Raising him from puppyhood has taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of understanding that every dog is unique. In addition to caring for Rex, I've helped care for my family's beloved dog for the past eight years and have frequently pet sat for the dogs of friends and family. These experiences have taught me how to care for dogs with different personalities, routines, energy levels, and needs. 🐾I believe every dog deserves individualized attention, and I love taking the time to learn each pet's personality, routines, and preferences so they feel comfortable and secure. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I'll make sure they receive care tailored to what makes them happiest. 🐾Safety is always my top priority. I'm attentive, observant, and careful to follow instructions closely while maintaining your pet's normal routine. Whether your pet has a detailed schedule, requires oral medication, or just needs a little extra patience and reassurance, I'm happy to provide the thoughtful care they deserve. 🐾I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet and your home in someone else's care. As a flexible remote working professional, my schedule allows me to provide reliable care and give your pet the time and attention they need. 🐾I currently offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight house sitting. Communication is very important to me, so I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages while you're away. I'm also happy to schedule a complimentary meet-and-greet beforehand so you and your pet can get to know me and feel completely comfortable. 🐾My goal is to provide the same level of care, attention, and love that I'd want someone to give my own dog. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! 🤍🐾 I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to each pet I care for. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to incorporating into my routine. I am able to provide dependable walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care while making sure each pet's individual schedule, exercise needs, and routines are maintained all while giving them lots of love. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. I am attentive, observant, and careful to follow instructions closely, from feeding schedules and routines to medications and special care needs. I take the time to learn each pet's personality and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while you're away. I also value communication and will provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and safe.

“Courtney was wonderful! She was prompt and communicative. She was very considerate of my requests including Blue's hurt toe- so she took Blue on a shorter gentle walk and then gave her some fun time in the yard. I will definitely reach out to Courtney again!”

“Kristen was great with the pups, kind and caring, but they aren't quite ready for a dog walker- gonna take some time to get these rescues ready for other people to watch them:)”

About: I love all animals and have been a dog lover since birth! I have cared for dogs & cats for 5 years now and received an Associates Degree for Animal Care & Management in 2022. I have fed, bathed, supervised, administered medication, etc. to all ages and sizes of dogs and cats at my workplace. I have 4-5 days available weekly to care for your fur babies! I am willing to do walks, drop ins and occasional boarding at your home. I am unable to host pets in my own home with my own pup but would be happy to do so at yours. I am trustworthy, reliable, responsible and have a special place in my heart for all animals!
“Fern did an amazing job with my anxious senior dog, Cookie. She walked Cookie from mid-July to mid-September, 2025, often daily. She was patient and helped problem solve how to have Cookie feel at ease. She built trust quickly, paid attention Cookie's patterns, followed a consistent schedule, and welcomed the cat as a bonus guest to the daily visits :) Fern was responsive, prompt, communicative and accurate in her updates. She has my highest recommendation and I would jump at the chance to have Fern work with our pet family members again. ~Audra”

About: Been a dog lover and owner all my life and would love the opportunity to take care of your dog if our schedules are able to align. I'm a teacher, so my summers are generally pretty open. I work Monday and Wednesday nights from about 5-7pm, but am otherwise available, unless otherwise noted in my calendar. Available times may change. I am offering dog walking and drop-ins at the moment, but I will care for any dogs as if they were my own, and will be in contact with the owners on an as needed basis. I plan/hope to expand to dog sitting eventually.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ogunquit
Candace was so sweet and flexible with our booking. She worked around the rain and checked our pup for ticks and dried ears since she’s prone to ear infections. She sent daily pictures and messages, so we felt very comfortable that our pup was in good hands and enjoying herself. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing dog walking.

Nick was great. Promptly responded and readily available and flexible willing to fit my schedule. He was even kind enough to clean up an accident my dog had when we weren't home. We also did a doggy daycare one day that my dog really enjoyed with the other dogs. Its great to see the pictures he sent also. Highly recommend Nick.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
