I’m Lorenzo, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for all kinds of pets—dogs (from energetic puppies to laid-back seniors, all the way up to hands-on work with service dogs and police K9s), cats, and even farm animals. I love making sure every animal gets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve! I’m also the proud owner of two amazing dogs: Rocco, my Belgian Malinois, and Vito, my Shepherd × Retriever mix. We stay active with hikes, mountain biking, training sessions, and plenty of other outdoor adventures. If your dog loves exploring, I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise and stimulation! I also offer dog training as a service, so pups can have fun while learning good habits. If your pet prefers a slower pace, I’m just as happy providing calm walks and relaxed companionship. About: Hi! I'm Marena—a lifelong animal lover and caretaker. I began dog and cat sitting at a very young age, and actively volunteering for animal rescues and farm sanctuaries in 2016. From socializing shelter puppies to shearing sheep, administering medication to llamas, and filing pig tusks, I've loved it all! I enjoy getting to know all sorts of personalities—from the active and boisterous, to the more reserved or anxious—my awareness of animal behavior allows me to provide the most positive and comfortable experience for your pet. In my free time I love bringing my dog, Lucy, for long walks on the beach (her favorite!) and exploring the outdoors. I'm currently a volunteer at the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals, and a member of the Animal Rescue Team for the Humane Society of the United States. I have experience in pet first aid/CPR, basic obedience training, canine enrichment (agility work, nose work), and emergency response. I earned a certificate in Large Animal Emergency Rescue in June 2023 and am currently working toward certification in the Masterson Method of equine bodywork to relieve stress and tension in horses. I’m currently a freelance graphic designer/creative strategist and am generally available on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Wednesdays are possibilities if given enough notice. Before booking a new client, I request that we schedule an in-person meet and greet. This makes it easier to build trust, as not all animals are instantly at ease with an unfamiliar person in their home. It also helps me learn specific details pertaining to my visit. I try to match your pet's routine as best as possible. This means learning what time they're used to eating, what their favorite activities or toys are, and any other preferences they may have. Overall, I strive to care for clients' pets as I do my own animals. This means lots of love, pictures, and regular updates to ensure you know how they're doing. And, as a guest in your home, I promise to leave everything as orderly and clean as it was when I arrived!

About: I love all animals and have been a dog lover since birth! I have cared for dogs & cats for 5 years now and received an Associates Degree for Animal Care & Management in 2022. I have fed, bathed, supervised, administered medication, etc. to all ages and sizes of dogs and cats at my workplace. I have 4-5 days available weekly to care for your fur babies! I am willing to do walks, drop ins and occasional boarding at your home. I am unable to host pets in my own home with my own pup but would be happy to do so at yours. Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood or a brisk trail/beach walk, I ensure that your dog gets the physical activity (and love) required to maintain their health and happiness. I work remotely from home or cafes and have a flexible schedule throughout the week. I accept same day bookings and I'm happy to help in a pinch. Walking: One of my dogs is a rescue that I trained from having reactive behavior to an incredible family member. I believe in maintaining clear boundaries and reinforcing positive behavior during our walks. Drop-ins: I have the upmost respect for your space and will make sure your dog is mud-free at drop off. I will happily follow your house rules and specifications.

About: I have been a pet "Mom" for many years. I treat each furbaby as one of my own. In addition, I'm a reliable, retired home care provider. My own dog is about 80 lbs, and I can expertly manage small, medium, and large dogs. I monitor pets and look for changes. I have partnered effectively with anyone who needs care for their pet. As long as no other owner has booked me, I am available 5 days a week and have flexibility with scheduling at this time. I will follow your instructions with how you keep your pets and your home, including how you manage your routines with food, potty breaks and walks and any special requests you have for their care. I will care for them as I would my own. For myself, I do enjoy quiet activities, and furbaby snuggles are one of those. My dog is a trained service dog. He is welcomed almost anywhere I go. He gets fed twice a day, treats as earned, and lots of love. I would pass these skills and habits along to your home and your pets.

About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. A few of our dogs even had puppies. One litter started to be born on my bed. When I was in my early 20's I used to pet sit for my co-workers for extra cash. I currently have 4 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I will take care and love your pets as if they were my own because that is how I would like my pets to be taken care of when I am away. I currently work days but I will be delighted to stop in to check on and or walk your pets in the afternoons and evenings. Whatever your request is I am sure I can handle it. If you need cat boxes to be scooped. Or dog poop to be cleaned up while you are away, I will do it no problem. I have no problem giving your pet cuddles while you are away!
