“Nicholas brought his dog Syl to play with mine and it turned out to be a great play time! He is Kind and Confident with high energy labs/puppy behaviors and I felt very comfortable with my pup in his care.”

“Deb was fabulous! She hit it off with schooner right away and was always right on time! We used her while we were on vacation in ogunquit and we will use her the next time we come back!”

“Katie and Andy, again, took very good care of our two beagles. This is the second time that we have used them, and our dogs love them! They will be our go-to people in the future when our dogs need care.”

About: Pets (and their people!) can sense my reliability, warmth, and attention to detail right away. I think it's because I'm a natural "pet magnet" - peaceful & present with animals of all kinds. I never cut corners when it comes to pet care or comfort. Whether it's extra snuggles, sticking to a precise routine, or noticing small changes in behavior, I bring a watchful eye and a caring heart to every visit. At home, I have hands-on experience with a variety of dogs. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, from toy breeds to large companions. I’ve also cared for cats, fish, and birds for years, so you can call on me for a wide range of companion animal needs. The safety, happiness, and well-being of your pets are my top priorities. I am ever-mindful of how much they mean to you, and that informs the care I provide. I have lots of flexibility with scheduling at this time. Just as long as another owner hasn't booked me already, I am available seven days a week. I will follow your instructions for how you keep your pets in your home. Feeding routines, potty routines, play-time and walks, whether or not they're allowed on furniture - you call the shots!
“Peter answered a last-minute request to make numerous drop-in visits with my dog, Brody. Everything was perfect! Brody adored Peter and he was certainly well cared for! I am so grateful to Peter for his kindness and keen attention to Brody, his great updates, and overall excellent care. Thank you Peter!”

About: Been a dog lover and owner all my life and would love the opportunity to take care of your dog if our schedules are able to align. I'm a teacher, so my summers are generally pretty open. I work Monday and Wednesday nights from about 5-7pm, but am otherwise available, unless otherwise noted in my calendar. Available times may change. I am offering dog walking and drop-ins at the moment, but I will care for any dogs as if they were my own, and will be in contact with the owners on an as needed basis. I plan/hope to expand to dog sitting eventually.
“We’re so happy to have found Chelsea! She is friendly, professional, and prompt. Our two puppy girls loved her the moment they met her during our meet-and-greet and we were excited to schedule our first drop-in with her. During the drop-in, Chelsea kept us updated and feeling at ease. The girls had so much fun and were sweet and sleepy when we returned. We definitely recommend Chelsea for your pet sitting needs and can’t wait to work with her again soon!”

About: Hello! I am a proud owner of two husky babies with my boyfriend Alex, who is now joining me on Rover. We both have experience in all types of breeds and training levels. We will take care of your pet like they are our own with love, proper care & responsibility - two sitters for the price of one! We are new to the Sanford area and are looking for extra income to renovate our first home. I am currently studying for my masters degree and WFH Mon-Wed. Outside of that, Alex is home the rest of the week so we will always have someone around - your baby will never be alone. Whether you have a fenced in yard or no yard at all, we will get the exercise in that they need depending on your approval. Walks, runs, dog parks, car rides, trips to the beach, hikes, etc. we will have a blast until you come home! If your pet(s) are staying with us, we live in a very safe area and have a large fenced in yard. Do be aware, our dogs will also be here, but they absolutely adore making new friends and are the definition of friendly.

About: Hi, I’m Allison! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud empty nester who now has plenty of time (and love!) to give to furry friends. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, a game of fetch, or just a gentle, calming presence while you’re away, I’m here to make them feel happy and safe. With years of experience caring for animals and a naturally nurturing spirit, I focus on giving pets the attention, comfort, and routine they need to thrive. I also give them plenty of affection and attention, so they don’t feel lonely or stressed while their owners are away. Additionally, I monitor their behavior closely to ensure they’re happy and healthy, and I’m always prepared to administer any medications or follow special instructions if needed. My goal is to create a calm, nurturing environment where the pets feel safe and loved.
