“Candace has been great with our pups! Our work schedules had gotten crazy and we needed mid-day help to make sure the fur kids got outside and got some play time so they weren’t cooped up all day. Candace has always been on time, responsive and caring towards our dogs. We look forward to continuing to have her help!”

“Peter is awesome! Was in a pinch today with pup care and he was able to support with two last minute requests. This was my first experience with Rover and Peter made it extremely positive and set the standard high. Will definitely be utilizing his service again. Love all the pictures from the visits. Frank and I both appreciate you!”

“Nick was great! Very attentive and always sent us pictures. Our dogs felt comfortable with him right off the bat. A couple changes of plans and Nick was happy to accommodate. Thank you Nick for being there for our fur babies while we were gone. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Meagan was wonderful! She is very communicative and reliable, and was great about sending photos at each check-in. She even watered my plants! I returned home to a very happy kitty :) I would definitely book her again, and highly recommend her.”

“This was the second time Deb has watched our cat while we’ve been out of town, and she was just as fabulous as always. Our cat snuggles right up to her and I love having the peace of mind that our cat is well taken care of and loved while we’re gone. Thank you, Deb!”

“Lauren was great, she came over to play and feed the pups while we were away. She sent us cute pics and the dogs seemed very happy they had a friend stop by while we were gone.”
“We’re so happy to have found Chelsea! She is friendly, professional, and prompt. Our two puppy girls loved her the moment they met her during our meet-and-greet and we were excited to schedule our first drop-in with her. During the drop-in, Chelsea kept us updated and feeling at ease. The girls had so much fun and were sweet and sleepy when we returned. We definitely recommend Chelsea for your pet sitting needs and can’t wait to work with her again soon!”

About: I have owned 1+ dogs my whole life. Raising them from puppies and owning multiple at a time. I have grown very comfortable and adaptable to all their different personalities, and loved each one. I am and have always been a big dog lover, being able to give them all the love and care they deserve. I love taking them on runs, walks or cuddling up on the couch. Caring for dogs comes naturally to me because of the love I have for them. I am a current masters student studying social work. I am home for the summer and would love to help out. I am a graduate student here in Boston. My dogs are back home with my parents, I miss them a lot! I would love to help out when I am available! Whatever works best for you and your dog is what I can adapt to!! I have encountered a variety of dogs in my life, and am able to adapt to their specific needs or requirements

About: My husband and I understand how difficult it can be to find trustworthy, high-quality pet care for a beloved family member. Having cared for our own dogs through every stage of life—including senior years and vision loss—we know that every dog has unique needs and deserves patience, compassion, and individualized attention. After losing our two cherished pups, we're not quite ready to welcome another dog of our own, but we deeply miss the joy and companionship that dogs bring. That's why we open our home to a limited number of pets and provide the kind of care we would want for our own family members. Because I work from home, your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, supervision, and affection throughout the day. We have no children and no resident pets, creating a calm, low-stress environment. We also only care for one family's dog at a time, ensuring your pet receives truly personalized care. Our goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving home where your dog feels comfortable, secure, and treated like family while you're away. I work from home full-time in a quiet home with no children or pets, providing constant supervision, companionship, personalized care, and plenty of attention. I provide a safe, loving home where dogs receive patience, affection, one-on-one attention, and gentle care tailored to their unique needs and personality.
“Clayton was wonderful with Buddy and I've already asked about the next times I am away for work. I know Buddy is in good hands and well loved with Clayton! I highly recommend him.”

About: I recently adopted a Cockapoo named Lucy. She is a total sweetheart and loves people and other dogs. I previously owned my own Boxer, Ava, for 9 years. She passed away 2 years ago and so I started working for Rover to share my love, compassion and support to dog owners seeking companionship and enrichment activity for their dog. I am available to watch your dog during the week or weekends. Need a break from your dog so you can enjoy “me” time or have a nice weekend? Then reach out and contact me! I am a huge animal lover and therefore I am available to assist with daily activities (feeding, medications, potty time) and enrichment (walk & play time) including overnight boarding. I will accept 2 dogs at the same time if they are from the same family (additional service rate would apply). I am a home owner that provides a 'cozy' and healthy environment. I have a large backyard and live in a nice area in Kennebunkport. I will always have your dog on a long leash to allow him/her to roam safely with me tagging along. I am someone who is very structured and believe that providing consistency & structure to a dog is very important. I do not believe in striking or hitting any animal no matter the reason. I will treat your dog with care like it is my own.
About: Hello! I am a proud owner of two husky babies with my boyfriend Alex, who is now joining me on Rover. We both have experience in all types of breeds and training levels. We will take care of your pet like they are our own with love, proper care & responsibility - two sitters for the price of one! We are new to the Sanford area and are looking for extra income to renovate our first home. I am currently studying for my masters degree and WFH Mon-Wed. Outside of that, Alex is home the rest of the week so we will always have someone around - your baby will never be alone. Whether you have a fenced in yard or no yard at all, we will get the exercise in that they need depending on your approval. Walks, runs, dog parks, car rides, trips to the beach, hikes, etc. we will have a blast until you come home! If your pet(s) are staying with us, we live in a very safe area and have a large fenced in yard. Do be aware, our dogs will also be here, but they absolutely adore making new friends and are the definition of friendly.
About: Hi! I'm pretty new to the community and have fallen in love with Maine. rates dependent on walk length and are negotiable!I work from home and am involved in the community. I took care of my dad for ten years (he had ALS) and am very compassionate and patient with caregiving. I'm here to help! I work from home five days a week 10-6, but am totally flexible/can swing by to take care of your sweet pets! If you prefer I stay at your house for a longer time to watch your pet, that works for me as long as I could bring my laptop. I don't currently have pets in my home, though I am allowed to bring small pets in as needed. I do have a large backyard.

“Katie and Andy, again, took very good care of our two beagles. This is the second time that we have used them, and our dogs love them! They will be our go-to people in the future when our dogs need care.”
