“Veska is wonderful! My dog Bennie stayed with Veska for a week and she took great care of him. Veska is gentle and kind, and Bennie loves her. She and her husband and son made Bennie part of the family, and even let him sleep in their bed, which is what he is used to at home. Veska followed directions I had left regarding feeding, walks, etc. She also went above and beyond by brushing him and even gave him a bath. He looked better when I picked him up than when I had dropped him off. I highly recommend Veska for safe loving dog care.”

About: Life-long pet lover with several years of dog walking experience. Also volunteered at the animal shelter, attended a dog training course, and took the vocational Health Occupations course in High School which included job shadowing at a vet's office. Scheduling should be pretty flexible. We are located in Wells & work part time locally. Please inform us what your needs are and we will try to accommodate! We live in an apartment so we will care for your dogs inside as well as giving them walks & allowing them in the yard on long leashes. Our two dogs will be overjoyed to have playmates, but if yours are shy or nervous we can keep them separated. Trips to the beach, dog park, or walking trails are also doable!

She has good space for dogs inside and out. She has a good sense of dogs and I felt comfortable leaving mine in her care. She sent a photo update during the day which I appreciated. About: New to Rover but not new to caring for animals! I grew up on a farm with lots of animals - dogs, cats, goats, horses, rabbits, chickens, pigs... I've also informally pet sat for friends and neighbors with dogs and/or cats in the past. I've been a cat mom in the past, but I don't have a pet of my own right now. For dog walking, my work from home job allows me some flexibility to stop by and take your pup for a stroll! I can do earlier mornings, a lunch time walk on some days, and evening walks after 5pm. For doggy daycare, I work from home full time at a desk job - if my day is "busy" it just means I had a few more zoom calls than usual. I would absolutely be able to take time to provide potty breaks and maybe a walk around the neighborhood when the weather is good. I live on a main street in town, but there's also a nice quiet neighborhood right behind me with minimal traffic, perfect for a quick walk. I do travel three or four times a year for my job, generally for 3-5 days each time, but I'd be able to give you at least a couple of months advanced notice for those trips - they are never last minute! For doggy daycare, I don't smoke and I have plenty of space for your pup to hang out during the day so they don't feel cooped up - including a wrap around enclosed porch that I can keep secure, and a tall privacy-fenced back yard/garden area. While the yard is fenced, I do get birds and other critters roaming through, and I have a flower garden that could have some toxic plants for over-curious dogs. Because of that, I would not to leave them alone outside, but take those breaks with them. My house does have a fairly steep flight of stairs, so a dog without joint pain or struggles going up and down multiple times a day would be most comfortable. I do have lots of houseplants and some could be toxic - so again, if your dog tends to be curious and take a bite out of plants, I may not be the best fit for you.

I had useful feedback from the visit (my dog was fine with her cat—(and dogs)—though she has had very little exposure to cats—so it appears vibes are what count with Frances. ) Hannah was friendly even when I changed my time plans on the actual day, oh-so-gently informing me she would definitely modify whenever she could, but she was dealing as well with other customers’ sometimes conflicting schedules. She was very good!”

“Kellie was absolutely wonderful with Barley! He has separation anxiety, so we’re always a little nervous leaving him, but Kellie put us completely at ease. She was so sweet and attentive with him, she even took him to the pet store and got him bones and toys to keep him happy. You can tell she and her husband genuinely love love love dogs; their home was beautiful and clearly set up for dogs to feel comfortable and cared for. Thanks to Kellie, we got to actually relax on our trip knowing Barley was in the best hands. Highly, highly recommend her. we’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

We felt great that he had such a nice safe place to stay while we stayed nearby at a house that was not dog-friendly. Chelsea took him to the park and the beach and sent us lots of pictures and updates. He came back looking great and is very tired!”
“Veska is wonderful! My dog Bennie stayed with Veska for a week and she took great care of him. Veska is gentle and kind, and Bennie loves her. She and her husband and son made Bennie part of the family, and even let him sleep in their bed, which is what he is used to at home. Veska followed directions I had left regarding feeding, walks, etc. She also went above and beyond by brushing him and even gave him a bath. He looked better when I picked him up than when I had dropped him off. I highly recommend Veska for safe loving dog care.”

“Michelle was great! We dropped our pup off with her for a wedding night sleepover and before we knew it he was running around playing and didn’t even care that we left. She loves dogs and treated ours as if he was her own (feeding, walks, playtime, safety). She would’ve taken him to the beach the next morning but we had to pick him up early and drive back to NYC. We would 100% recommend her when you’re in the Kittery/Portsmouth area!”
