“We cannot recommend Ashley enough! Prior to the house sitting stay, Ashley came to meet us and our pup. Instantly, she made our shy pup feel comfortable. She is a great communicator and updated us throughout our vacation, which put us at ease. We highly recommend booking Ashley to take care of your animals!”

“Tyler was so amazing with our dog Boone!! We felt so comfortable having Tyler in our home for the weekend, he took really good care of the house and our pup! Can’t wait to have him watch our dog again!”

“Tara watched our rambunctious dog Wes for four nights at our home and we couldn’t be happier with the care she gave him. She bonded instantly with him (which says quite a lot actually for our dog), was in touch every day with updates, and improvised on food when some of his food ran out. TRa also discovered a broken nail and was prepared to take time off from work to take Wes to the vet, although we elected to wait and see. She was professional and caring, everything you could ask for in a pet sitter. I would recommend her again in a heartbeat!”
“We had such a great experience with Eli. This was our first time using Rover. The plans we had for our dogs fell through; a friend who had been in a similar situation used Rover and recommended it. We were happy someone with experience was available. Eli was very easy to work with. He’s easygoing and good natured. Our dogs really liked him when they met him. We have no complaints. We’d definitely book him again.”

“Joey loves when we get Lori to sit with him! He always has fun and she keeps us informed throughout the day with updates and pictures. Plus I’m always at complete ease when Lori is sitting.”

“Victoria is a very lovely and caring person. She communicated with us very well (with pictures) during her stay. Quinn and Ferdinand seemed happy and well taken care of. Our house was immaculate and probably cleaner than when we left, too.”

About: Since childhood, I have been the go-to person for friends and family to walk, feed, and bathe their pets when they are away. I am comfortable with various breeds and energy levels, and I treat every animal as if they were my own I am currently in college, so my schedule is super flexible during the week, and I am available almost every weekend! This allows me to dedicate plenty of quality time to playing with, walking, and caring for your pets whenever you need a hand :) When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize maintaining their existing routine to reduce stress. I provide detailed updates, ensure they are fed on time, and always double-check that all doors and gates are securely locked before leaving.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years before I became a stay at home mom to my daughter, Jordan I love this opportunity on Rover, because it joins my two favorite things—animals and the outdoors. This is a great way for me to teach my daughter animal husbandry. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is flexible. My daughter usually tags along with me. She is also an animal lover. I currently do not own any pets so I am free to take care of other animals. If I need to check on an animal, I usually spend about an hour with them. (Letting them out, feeding and watering, snuggling). If I am walking, I will walk for an hour. Or an agreed time frame.
“Julie was wonderful and sent us daily photos of our kitties. We felt at ease the whole time she was pet sitting. We will definitely schedule her again for future visits ❤️”

“Lauren took care of our Yorkie ,Skye, in our home while we went away on a long weekend. Skye had never been left with someone with whom she was unfamiliar and we had never had someone we didn’t know stay in our home while we were away. Lauren came over for a meet and greet and we immediately liked her and felt comfortable leaving her in our home with Skye. When she arrived on the weekend we were going away, Skye was a little apprehensive, but Lauren sat down on the floor with her and by the time we left, they were friends. Lauren sent pictures and updates as to what was going on. We were very happy with Lauren. Skye was happy when we got home and the house looked perfect. Lauren is a lovely person who is experienced and bright and obviously loves dogs. We definitely will use her again when we need someone again and HIGHLY her”

“Lily did an excellent job house sitting and caring for our kitty who often suffers from separation anxiety while we are away. She’s very trustworthy, reliable and thorough. We arrived home to a happy and not stressed kitty. Thank you Lily for taking great care of Ziggy. We would definitely use Lily’s services again 😻”
“Peter is a thoughtful, kind, caring companion to our sweet pet. He goes above and beyond to accommodate our schedule and to care for her when we’re away. We are grateful he’s close by and will continue to engage him often. Highly recommend Peter T!”

About: I've been taking care of and been around dogs for most of my life and have had 4 dogs total in my lifetime. I have taken care of my family friends' dogs whether it be going to their house and feeding them and walking them as well as staying overnight and making sure they have company while their parents are away. I love dogs and I tend to think they love me too, I am very gentle and loving towards animals. I am educated on how dogs react and can manage them properly. I am committed to reading dogs' body language and understanding their moods to provide comfort, safety, and fun for all our adventures! I am currently a full-time student at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. I have classes every day but I am very flexible and have a lot of free time after class to come walk and care for animals. I am available for most nights of the week and some weekends but weekends can be more challenging. Just let me know and we can figure something out! I will spend quality time with your dog whether it be taking them for walks or playing with them outside or inside. I currently live in an apartment with five other roommates that doesn't allow boarding so I would have to come to your house and take care of your pets. Nonetheless, I would be able to care for your animal in other ways that don't involve boarding and are open to any suggestions! I look forward to meeting your furry friend!
“We had such a wonderful experience! She was a fantastic communicator and kept us updated with photos the entire time. When my dog was feeling upset, she truly stepped up — spending extra time with her and even making her chicken and rice to make sure she was comfortable. That level of care meant so much to us and put our minds a bit more at ease. I would highly recommend her and absolutely look forward to working with her again.”

“Anna was one of the best sitters that I have ever used. She was extremely commutative with very prompt responses. I was completely at ease on my vacation (which is sometimes really hard to do). My fur babies seemed to absolutely LOVE her! Lucky me she lives close as well. :) I will definitely be using her in the future.”

About: Personally I grew up in a house that never had just one or two dogs. No my parents were always a three or four dog kinda family. With my love for dogs always exceeding anything else I have worked in a vet before, and I currently work at a doggy daycare part time. It’s my dream one day to own my own! As stated, I am working part time at a doggy daycare so Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday I am available anytime after one pm! And I am available All day Tuesdays and the majority of Sundays. It sounds complicated, but I promise you it’s more availability then you think:) I have two leads outside of my back door to let any size pup outside, but I also never mind walking them if that’s what they’re use too. If they’re use too off leash there is a field right by my apartment I could bring them too! I honestly aspire to do what you do for your dog the exact same! I want your dog to be comfy and feel at home! No matter what it is, it’s never a hassle if your dog is use to it! I do also have two of my own pups. Extremely friendly and cute! Max is a one year old gsp/ chocolate lab and Appa will be two in August!
“As always, Cassandra is a wonderful care giver for Gracie, who can be a handful! I love that Cassandra always asks Gracie for good behavior before rewards -- reinforcing what I try to do myself at home. And -- a bonus -- she sends wonderful pics of their time together!”

Lauren was willing and capably took care of my senior dog who is diabetic and also has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. She needs multiple medications several times daily including insulin injections every 12 hours. Though here temperament is very sweet, her care needs are quite high maintenance. It was clear to me that my dog felt comfortable with Lauren the first time she met her, which allowed me to really enjoy being away for a few days at Thanksgiving, knowing my dog would be well cared.
