My Cocker Spaniel Willy has his own health issues, so if any extra special care is required for your pet, I’m your girl! I’m a full time registered nurse (RN) and only work 3 days a week! I am a Registered Nurse and only work 3 days a week! I am looking for ways to spend my days off, and I thought what better way than with animals!? I currently live in Biddeford and am available to travel to your home for any of your pets needs! I previously lived in Portland and work in Westbrook so I’m familiar with the area! About: I have grown up working closely with shelters and fostering elderly dogs with my mom. My family have even had our own litter of puppies from birth through adoption. My family then started fostering pregnant cats and raising the kittens until they were ready for adoption. I have my own cat with a slew of medical problems and have no issues administering medications. Please let me know what I can do to fit your pet needs! I’m currently working full time as an accountant and have the option of working from home. This allows me to be flexible with where I work and allows for frequent walks! We had such a great experience with Eli. This was our first time using Rover. The plans we had for our dogs fell through; a friend who had been in a similar situation used Rover and recommended it. We were happy someone with experience was available. Eli was very easy to work with. He’s easygoing and good natured. Our dogs really liked him when they met him. We have no complaints. We’d definitely book him again.
On relatively short notice, we had arranged for Eli to come stay with Lily for just six hours during the day. He went out of his way to actually do a meet and great prior, which was really nice. Lily was very comfortable with him, and we would definitely be interested in having him watch her again!
Lauren was willing and capably took care of my senior dog who is diabetic and also has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. She needs multiple medications several times daily including insulin injections every 12 hours. Though here temperament is very sweet, her care needs are quite high maintenance. It was clear to me that my dog felt comfortable with Lauren the first time she met her, which allowed me to really enjoy being away for a few days at Thanksgiving, knowing my dog would be well cared.
Lauren took care of our Yorkie ,Skye, in our home while we went away on a long weekend. Skye had never been left with someone with whom she was unfamiliar and we had never had someone we didn’t know stay in our home while we were away. Lauren came over for a meet and greet and we immediately liked her and felt comfortable leaving her in our home with Skye. When she arrived on the weekend we were going away, Skye was a little apprehensive, but Lauren sat down on the floor with her and by the time we left, they were friends. Lauren sent pictures and updates as to what was going on. We were very happy with Lauren. Skye was happy when we got home and the house looked perfect. Lauren is a lovely person who is experienced and bright and obviously loves dogs. We definitely will use her again when we need someone again and HIGHLY her
