“Benji had a great time staying with Nicholas and his family. I know this because Nicholas sent me lots of pictures and I was able to see that Benji was very chill, enjoying tummy rubs, getting along well with Nicholas' other 3 dogs and finding his place to relax right under their desk (just like he does at home). Benji has a sensitive stomach and often doesn't eat for the first couple of days. When his appetite did pick up, Nicholas was careful to make sure that Benji ate only his special food and that kept his GI track working properly! On the day of our return, our pickup time had to be delayed because of a flight change, but this was not a problem at all for Nicholas. We will definitely reach out to Nicholas the next time that we have need for a pet sitter.”

I have a comfy crate suitable for small to medium dogs (if you crate), lots of toys, and lots of time to engage with your sweetie. The area surrounding my home is safe and quiet, with many options for woodland walks. I live near dog-friendly beaches and the Saco river, so splashing is an option, too! If your dog has good recall, I can provide off-leash time in the 1.5 acre yard. I have a front porch with a protective gate to keep the sunbathers from getting out, and lots of space for indoor play time and resting as well.

When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I follow any specific care instructions provided by the pet owner and make sure to keep the home clean and tidy while the pet is in my care. I also keep a close eye on the pet to ensure their well-being and address any concerns or issues that may arise. Additionally, I am happy to follow any routines or schedules the pet is used to, such as feeding and walk times, to help make their time away from their owner as stress-free as possible.
About: First of all, I have no reviews yet because I am new!! I am retired and have had dogs all my life. Always one to help out a friend with their dogs as well. I have the time and the love to help others out. We put our last dog down a year ago and I really miss having a dog. “The care and love Jaclyn and her family gave to our Mayzie was beyond measure. Truly. The photos, the videos, and the commentary she shared set our minds at ease. We hadn't been in the car more than ten minutes before she sent the sweetest photo of Mayzie settling in so nicely. This was the first time we left Mayzie and we were gone nine days! We didn't worry ONE MINUTE. As soon you meet Jaclyn, it's so clear she is a "dog person." She understands them, loves them and genuinely seems to have so much fun caring for them. We've already booked another stay in September with many more to come.”

“Benji had a great time staying with Nicholas and his family. I know this because Nicholas sent me lots of pictures and I was able to see that Benji was very chill, enjoying tummy rubs, getting along well with Nicholas' other 3 dogs and finding his place to relax right under their desk (just like he does at home). Benji has a sensitive stomach and often doesn't eat for the first couple of days. When his appetite did pick up, Nicholas was careful to make sure that Benji ate only his special food and that kept his GI track working properly! On the day of our return, our pickup time had to be delayed because of a flight change, but this was not a problem at all for Nicholas. We will definitely reach out to Nicholas the next time that we have need for a pet sitter.”

“5 Stars – Ashley is an Absolute Gem! I honestly can’t say enough good things about Ashley. She has been watching my two English bulldogs, Winston and Bentley, for over a year now whenever I travel, and she is hands-down the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. From the moment we met her, both boys were instantly smitten. Now, every single time I ask, “Do you want to go see Ashley?!” they lose their minds with excitement—tails wagging, happy snores, the full bulldog drama. That alone tells me everything I need to know about how much they love her. Ashley creates such a safe, fun, and loving environment. She’s incredibly responsible with their medications (a few daily meds and eye drops), follows all instructions to the letter, and sends the best photo and video updates while I’m away so I never have to worry. She genuinely spends time with them—lots of play, cuddles, and supervised fun with her other well-mannered boarding dogs. When I pick them up, they’re happily exhausted from all the playtime and come home with that perfect “I had the best vacation” bulldog grin.
