My own dog is about 80 lbs, and I can expertly manage small, medium, and large dogs. I monitor pets and look for changes. I have partnered effectively with anyone who needs care for their pet. As long as no other owner has booked me, I am available 5 days a week and have flexibility with scheduling at this time. I will follow your instructions with how you keep your pets and your home, including how you manage your routines with food, potty breaks and walks and any special requests you have for their care. I will care for them as I would my own. For myself, I do enjoy quiet activities, and furbaby snuggles are one of those. My dog is a trained service dog. He is welcomed almost anywhere I go. “We highly recommend Patrick. He was absolutely wonderful with our dog Gilligan. We utilized the overnight pet sitting service in our home. Patrick was very accommodating and to better get to know us, he offered to visit our home twice prior to our trip. One of these visits he took Gilligan for a walk, while I just tagged along. He handled Gilligan beautifully, cleaned up after him, let him stop and sniff, but then encouraged him along. He stopped and talked with a neighbor, while their dog and Gilligan said hello. Patrick was a natural. It was obvious he loved dogs and took his job very seriously. Patrick provided us with references without us asking. We called all of them and heard nothing but very positive comments. Patrick also offered to talk with our previous sitter (who was moving away) to gain even more knowledge of Gilligan and how to best care for him. I was doing all I could to find the best caregiver for Gilligan, and Patrick made it easy. It was all pretty impressive. Although we were gone for only one night, Patrick kept us updated with pictures and messages throughout the day, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. I'm now offering my services through Rover in the Portsmouth area and 25-mile radius. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, including senior pets, animals with anxiety or trauma histories, and pets with special needs. I'm comfortable administering medications and following detailed care routines. What you can expect: I learn each animal's routine rather than applying one approach to every pet. I send daily photo updates. I'm naturally tidy and leave homes clean and calm, and I'm glad to look after plants or a garden while I'm there. A few practical notes, so we can both tell early whether it's a good fit: 1. Meet & greet before every first booking. I require a video call or an in-person visit so we can both assess fit. You get to meet me and ask whatever you need to; I get to meet your pet and see the space. Until we've had that conversation, please treat my response as interest rather than a confirmed booking, and keep your other options open. I won't accept a booking before a meet and greet for house sitting. 2. Weekday availability. I see clients on video Monday through Friday, 10a–4p. I have experience with animal behavior, puppies, older dogs, cats, and everything in between I am seasonally employed and looking to fill some gaps during the off season. I have my own family obligations, so the flexibility of Rover works well for me. I have a large private yard with lots of woods on a dead end road. I'm happy being outside and used to working in all types of weather.

I love to get them (and me) out for a walk especially on a beach or nearby trail. I also have a lot of experience caring for senior dogs and can match that energy level as well! I work from home so would not be away from your dog for more than an hour or two. If your dog likes the car, they can join me on errands/adventures.
