“Amanda was AMAZING! We had never left our dogs with a dog sitter more than a day so we were super nervous about leaving them for a few days and a few nights. We immediately felt comfortable with Amanda though and so did our dogs. She kept us updated the whole way and sent so many pictures throughout our whole trip. Not once did I feel like they weren’t getting the same exact treatment we give them when we’re home! She was so loving and caring, and even let them sleep with her in the guest bedroom. When we got home our house was super clean and just like we left it. Our family loves Amanda! We would book her again in a heart beat!”

“Claire is a cat whisperer - I think our cat might like her better than us! She does a great job taking care of our cat and our house. She is our go-to cat sitter.”

“Michael was a new sitter for us, but he will be our go-to sitter moving forward. He was prompt, reliable & very sweet with our pets. We got many photos and videos of his stay & our dog seemed very happy to have him there for walks & to play with. An unexpected bonus was not only that he left us a note so we knew where our pets were at in their day with treats & meds, but how clean he left our house (even stripped the bed & put his sheets in the washing machine)! 6/5 stars for Michael D! I HIGHLY recommend!”

“Anna took great care of our dogs while we were out of the country. We have a 14 year old that needs extra care and she did so well with him! Our other dog mugsy is a love bug & she was also great with himI we would seek Anna out again to dog sit for us!”

“Our dog is old and a bit cranky. She is very devoted to her people and can be very whiny and needy when she is being cared for by others. Carrie took very good care of her while we were away for a week, even letting her sleep with her. We were very pleased with Carrie and would highly recommend her.”

About: My parents ran a German shepherd dog breeding business when I was growing up. I helped deliver puppies and tend to our 5+ adult dogs and litters of puppies from a young age. In college I worked seasonally for a dog daycare and boarding facility. Post college I worked for a dog trainer and took dogs on hikes in the woods. Since then, I have had multiples dog sitting gigs. I’ve also raised and taken care of cats throughout my life. I’m very intuitive around animals. I work part time, and have most Mondays and some Fridays off. I am off on Saturdays and Sundays. I am unavailable Tuesday-Thursday most weeks. My work is flexible if given enough time in advance. I am very flexible and am able to cater to whatever your pet needs. I am comfortable adapting to the needs of your furry friend!

“Erinn stayed at our home for several nights during the holidays and took great care of our 2 year old dog, Rigby. We will definitely be hoping she will be available next time we travel. We highly recommend her to you.”

“Gavin did an incredible job updating us every day with photos of our golden girl! Excellent sitter, 100% recommend for your future home sitting and pet sitting needs.”

About: I am a college graduate who recently moved back home. With the recent passing of my dog, I decided it would be a good time to connect with other animals and provide them with the care that I gave my dog for the past 9 years. What sets me apart is my reliability and dedication to consistent care. With a structured 9-5 schedule, you can rely on me to be dependable and organized. Having grown up caring for multiple dogs and cats, I have a deep love for animals and a strong understanding of the needs of both young and senior pets. I’m attentive to each pet’s unique personality and routine, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared for. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, or just spending quality time, I always prioritize their well-being. I work 9-5 on weekdays, but I’m available anytime before or after work to care for your pets. I’m also happy to do overnight stays, especially on weekends, which are usually very quiet for me. When caring for pets in my client's home, I make sure to maintain a clean and respectful environment. I’m a very considerate house guest and always follow the house rules to ensure everything stays as comfortable and safe as possible for both the pet and the owners. I have reliable transportation, so I can take the pet anywhere they need to go, whether it’s for a walk, a vet visit, or just an outing. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priority, and I strive to create a stress-free, familiar environment for them while you're away.

“Justina stayed at our home over the holidays and took excellent care of our two dogs, Baxter and Ivy. We received updates and photographs every day, which put us at ease while we were away. Together with her daughter, the dogs had lots of time for games and even learned new tricks! We would recommend Justina to anyone looking for outstanding pet sitting.”

“Zoe made sure my kinda needy cat got the care she needs while I was away and sent photos she’s a great sitter”

“Melody was our very first dog & home sitting experience and was absolutely perfect. I will 100% hire her again soon. Upon meeting Melody I instantly had a great feeling about her competence around dogs. She asked the right questions and is very confident handling my two high-energy pups! I received several photo updates, and she absolutely went the extra mile on communication and leaving my apartment even cleaner than before! I'd you're on the fence about the costs, or letting a stranger into your house: Melody won't make you regret it!! 100% recommending her!”

“James was amazing! He went above and beyond and his son taught us a new trick, that we have been working on with our pup! Would absolutely have James watch our pup in the future!”

About: I’ve had pets since age 5, and my own since 18. I’ve dealt with pets in need of cancer care, diabetic cats, dogs with orthopedic issues (not my own) and plenty of healthy animals! I spent 1 year in my twenties working at Petco and learned a lot there as well! I’d love to help with your family’s pet care needs. I treat animals like family, love to spend time with them and give them the attention they need. Are you in need of a trustworthy pet sitter? Look no further! I’m Nikki, a graduate student studying chiropractic. I have openings in June-July as I complete my final few months before beginning my chiropractic career. A bit about me: I’m a huge animal lover! So much so that I’ve offered cat and dogsitting for over 10 years and have dozens of happy customers who are happy to offer a reference. I’m also certified through AVCA in animal chiropractic - through this I’m also certified in pet first aid, and have a great understanding of animal anatomy and physiology, as well as plenty of friends in the veterinary world! Currently offering premium rates for bookings in June & July in the greater Portsmouth area. I have worked with animals with disabilities, those who need IVs and medications, anxious pets, and many more. No breed restrictions apply! References available upon request! (And of course I’ll take dozens of photos of your pets to share with you if you’d like updates while away) I’m happy to offer walks and play time, company for your pets, feedings, and overnight care. In situations where owners are away for a few days, even if I am not staying in your home I will be happy to bring some schoolwork to give your pet the opportunity to have a human presence around for an hour or two in addition to the time spent actively caring for them. I have successfully administered medicines to both dogs, horses, and cats (and ferrets and chinchillas). I’ve cared for reptiles, goats, and fish as well. I have also administered subcutaneous fluids and insulin to cats, and helped ambulate dogs as large as a German Shepherd to the bathroom, and am happy to learn from you if your pet has any additional needs! I’m also trained in animal chiropractic, where I worked alongside large and small animal veterinarians and learned the ins and outs of animal anatomy - this along with my certification as a wildlife rehabilitator and experience as a dog groomer make me a great fit for your pet!

“Nikki is the definition of the perfect pet caregiver! Animals are drawn to her and she gains their trust very quickly. We have 2 dogs and 2 goats. Our dachshund is good with other people but our German Shepherd is not. She has special needs which require her to be on special medications the rest of her life and she has severe hip dysplasia. She recently had to have major surgery and Nikki was one of her caregivers during her recovery period. Our shepherd immediately took to her and without hesitation, let her take her on short walks and bathroom trips. Nikki has also watched and cared for our 2 goats while we have been away. They too took to her immediately and enjoyed her spoiling company and the extra treats! I would highly recommend Nikki for any job that required animal love and care. She is extremely responsible and easy to talk to. Your pet would be in the best hands ever!”
