âAmanda was amazing - this was our first time getting a sitter and she was very reassuring and understanding of our nerves of leaving our babies for the night. She was very experienced and knows what sheâs doing! So patient and gentle with our animals and gave time and care to make sure they were comfortable and happy. We are definitely going to book her again in the future and are so so happy with her.â

âMichael was absolutely wonderful with our boys this weekend. Dennis is in a delicate stage of his leg recovery and requires extra attention, and Michael was incredibly conscientious, following every instruction, giving careful supervision, and keeping us updated so we never had to worry. Both dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. Weâre so grateful for his care and will gladly book with him again!â

About: I've been primary care giver of cat and dog through my 28 years of life. I also have looked after the pets of others when they request. I'm currently a student completing my fourth year of medical school. In between studying and spending time in the hospital, I am free and available for several services. We have a fence at home. I love to walk for at least 30 minutes. Give plenty of love and care and treats when they are good :)
âErin and Amanda are absolutely lovely. They were so great with my pups. They took extra care of my more nervous dog too. Very grateful I found them and look forward to booking again in the near future.â

âWe couldn't be happier with Chris and the wonderful job they did caring for our two cats! They took notes during our meet up and immediately clicked with the cats (which means they are an expert at reading those sometimes subtle cat body cues). We really appreciated their comfort and confidence caring for the cats, including one who requires daily meds. They sent daily pictures and updates, gave the cats plenty of love and attention, and we returned to a very neat, tidy house and two happy kitties! We are looking forward to their next stay!â

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life and love to take them on walks or hikes and take them to the park to run/play fetch! I am free every day of the week! No matter how early or how late in the day I will always be ready to take care of any dog! I understand that every household is different and I can guarantee that I will be able to respect the wishes of each dog owner and their property!
âWe were so pleased with Dale. She took good care of our pets and was very responsive. She did a great job building a relationship with our anxious dog and kept up with medicines for our cats. She sent wonderful pics and the house was neat when we arrived home.â

âKristen did a great job taking care of our cat while we were gone, which included giving her medication twice a day. She sent lots of pictures and our cat loved Kristen. We will definitely ask her to watch our cat again in the future!â

âJustina stayed at our home over the holidays and took excellent care of our two dogs, Baxter and Ivy. We received updates and photographs every day, which put us at ease while we were away. Together with her daughter, the dogs had lots of time for games and even learned new tricks! We would recommend Justina to anyone looking for outstanding pet sitting.â

âGracie was wonderful! Great communication, very friendly, kept us posted the entire time and took great care of our home. We will definitely have her watch our pup again!â

âMelody is responsive, kind, attentive, and reliable. She stayed at our home for five days/four nights and our dog loved her! She asked great questions to make sure she understood his needs and routines, sent us pictures, and left our home in wonderful condition. I will definitely recommend her to friends!â

âWe contacted Caley for a recent trip and were thankful to find her! She was great at staying in touch, providing updates and send us photos of our three pets! We were so happy to know there was someone keeping an eye on things while we were gone! We came home to very happy animals and Caley left our house in great shape! Thanks again!â

âAlly did an amazing job caring for Rosie! She was very attentive and provided many photos and updates. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be reaching out in the future!â
âJames was amazing! He went above and beyond and his son taught us a new trick, that we have been working on with our pup! Would absolutely have James watch our pup in the future!â

About: I love dogs and have a beautiful 8 yo 1/2 Lab 1/2 GSP of my own who I fostered and then adopted February 2018; she will gladly keep your dog company and busy playing at my home. I have a large fenced in back yard 2 miles from downtown Portsmouth with plenty of room for the dogs to play and run around in. I am recently retired from Corp Amer, and am home with the dogs so they wonât be left alone. I will only take up to 2 dogs (dogs must be over 2 years of age and show zero signs of any aggression) in at a time for day care and 1 or 2 for boarding so your dog will get plenty of love and one on one attention. My prices may be a little bit higher than other people on this app, but that is because Iâm only taking one or two dogs at a time and your dog is getting 1:1 care versus being in a rowdy kennel type environment with several dogs around. You can rest assured knowing I will care for your pets better than most. When I am walking your dog, I will engage with them, give them loads of attention, and will not be looking at/reading my phone. There are toys and tennis balls for them to play with in the yard and they will be let out every 2 hours for potty breaks and play, and can lounge around on the couches if they feel like it too. If they are 100% with recall, we go for 2 off leash trail enrichment hikes/ walks per day, otherwise they can be walked on leash around my neighborhood. At bed time, I play soft spa like music so the pups can sleep well and comfortable. I would like to have a meet and greet with all dogs and owners before they board at my home. My daycare rates are for up to 8 hours per day. If you drop your dog off at 8:30am, the dog must be picked up by 4:30pm otherwise you will be charged an additional half day rate. Latest pickup is 6:30pm. After 6:30pm it becomes an overnight. Drop offs must be before 6pm. Thank you I cater to dogs that need a little extra support and donât do well in a chaotic kennel environment, which is why it is more of a âboutique âservice. (1:1) At the most, I might pop out for an hour but the dogs will not be left alone for more than an hour or 2 max. I have a large crate here if your dogs likes to be crated. I am not currently housesitting, only taking dogs in at my home. I do not book out months in advance. I generally only book out 1-2 month in advance. I am now currently only booking through April 2026. I let the dogs out every couple of hours for potty breaks and play. I will only take in 2-3 dogs max for daycare at a time and one or two dogs at a time for overnights, as to not overwhelm any of the dogs. This is a relaxed stress free environment for the dogs.
âPhoebe was fantastic watching our two pups for the weekend. Our pups had an awesome time with her, and I especially appreciated her clear and frequent communication. I had no concerns at all while we were away. And she left our house spotless. Definitely hope that she is available to watch our pups again in the future!â

âMary Liz was kind, caring, punctual and communicative. Our puppy seemed comfortable, happy and well taken care of⌠she even got a new stuffed bear! We would absolutely book again.â

Kristen is awesome! She has cared for our dog Nora a few times now. Nora has separation anxiety which makes caring for her a full-time job. Kristen has been so kind and loving with Nora and willing to take on her challenges. Kristen is very dependable. We have had some early morning departures and late night arrivals and she is always on time. We trust Kristen and highly recommend her!

Sylvie was fantastic! She was a great communicator, sent photos and videos, and braved some awful New England weather to walk our dog Luna. She played with our cat Dusty, left our house spotless, and even washed her bedding, which we really appreciated. We would definitely ask her to take care of Dusty and Luna again. Highly recommend!

We booked Kate to house sit for the first time over a 2 day weekend. How lucky we were! Kate responds immediately to texts, arrived on time for a meet & great and instantly became a BFF with our 2 dogs, arrived on time for 2 night stay, very responsible and house was spotless when we came back. She was super flexible and easy to work with. Dogs still miss her as every morning they are still going into the room she slept in to look for her. Very much look forward to booking her again.

Stephanie is incredible! She is a dog-loving, capable person who took excellent care of both of our dogs, including one senior dog. She stayed at our house and treated our home and doggos with love and respect. She is responsive, easy to communicate with, and a quick-study when it came to learning our dogsâ schedules and needs. Definitely plan to work with her again (if our schedules align)!

Eddy stayed with our German Shepherd over the Thanksgiving holiday and treated her to a wonderful weekend with lots of walking, running, and snuggling. We needed help last minute because she was in heat and didnât feel comfortable boarding her - Eddy came through and wasnât fazed by any of the many instructions we had for her, or her puppy craziness. He sent lots of updates and we knew she was in great hands. Absolutely would recommend him!

Michael was absolutely wonderful with our boys this weekend. Dennis is in a delicate stage of his leg recovery and requires extra attention, and Michael was incredibly conscientious, following every instruction, giving careful supervision, and keeping us updated so we never had to worry. Both dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. Weâre so grateful for his care and will gladly book with him again!

Teresa recently dogsat in our home for 4 days. Most importantly my dogs were well cared for, but also, I could tell that she respected my home. Teresa was extremely mindful of the different needs of my two dogs and great at communicating with me daily. I felt very comfortable leaving my home and dogs in her care.

Carlie was wonderful!! A family wedding caused all normal dog sitters to be unavailable. Carlie came to meet my adult childrenâsâ dogs at my house where she ended up watching them over a long weekend. She was extremely responsive and the dogs loved her!! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Renee was amazing with our two dogs! She kept in touch the whole time and really understood what they needed. She even took them on some extra walks, which they loved! Weâd absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, caring, and reliable sitter.

Amanda took excellent care of my puppy. My pup is 4 months old - aka a busy little dog who needs to be watched. Amanda gave her heaps of attention and knew all the puppy tricks to encourage good behavior. I highly recommend her to take care of your dog. She also took great care of my house.

We had Melody watch our dogs while we were away recently and she was amazing! The pups were well cared for and happy when we got home, which says a lot. She sent us daily updates with pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. On top of that, she helped out around the house by taking out the trash, washing the bedding she used, and even resetting a breaker when the bathroom power went out. That wasnât something we ever expected her to have to deal with, but she took care of it anyway, which we really appreciated. Melody is super reliable, thoughtful, and easy to work with. Weâre so glad we found her and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter.
It was our first time leaving our pets for an overnight. We were very scepticale and anxious about leaving them. We are crazy pet parents with high expectations . James blew our expectations out of the water and made the entire process stress free! Great man and even greater to our pets. He did everything that was asked and went above and beyond to make sure not only our animals but we ourselves felt at ease and stress free. Great communication skills and was willing to accommodate all requests we asked of him. Incredible sitter and we will be rebooking anytime we have an event.
