About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

“I looked many hours for the right family to leave our Westie, Piper, with during a trip to Europe. When I met Donna and Roland at their home in Newbury, I felt so good about their experienced background with dogs. They advertised that they would allow a small dog to sleep in their bed which is what Piper is use to so this was another perk for Piper. Their home is very dog friendly and I loved the way they decorated it, inside and outside. Piper needed some extra meds while we were away and they followed all the instructions for her. When we picked her up, she was very relaxed and we knew she had a good vacation away from home. (Previously, we had people stay with her at our home.) She got to visit with another dog and a cat that lives with Donna and Roland, walked places that she had never walked before with Roland and was lovingly cared for by them. It was so good to see her so happy and content when we arrived to take her home. We will continue to book with Donna from now on and are so grateful for people like them who love her as we do. About: Kristine and Eric have loved and had animals our entire life. I have always helped care for pets, even as a child. Eric was raised on a farm, caring for many different kinds of animals- waking up before dawn to ensure that all animals were properly cared for and had what they needed for the day whether it be rain, shine, snow, sleet, hot, or cold. We, together, have two dogs. They are both around 10 years old and are rescues. We also have 6 chickens. Our home has a door from the downstairs to the upstairs. When dogs are home during the day and if left alone for 1 hour or so they stay downstairs with access to water, comfy couches, and dog bed areas. When we are home they have free run of the home. We also have a crate for dogs that may need a private, safe space. We have a back yard that our dog enjoys playing in, but just so you know it is not fenced in, therefore dogs remain leashed when in the back yard. We do have a deck that is closed off in the backyard where dogs can be left unleashed to hang out, but always supervised when out there. We also have a 15 year old daughter who loves animals. She assists with the care of our dogs and we have fostered a few dogs in the past from various shelters and she is always eager to assist with making these dogs feel comfortable and give them love. She volunteers at a local animal shelter with small mammals and takes care of the chickens I work full time during the school year for a school district. Eric works from home. Eric takes dogs for a number of walks per day including walks to the local dog park (Rogers Park) and to local beaches for exercise and socialization. I am home by 3:30 pm and bring my dogs (and other dogs) for exercise either running, hiking, or walking. In the summer I am mostly around. I also grew up with cats and with both have experience with cats and providing meds to cats, including insulin shots. I work full time and Eric works part to full time but we can walk dogs in the evening and walk dogs throughout the day on the weekends. I have summers off as I work in a school. I will not be offering care in my home, but am excited to take care of your pet and walk your dog and take your dog on adventures.

About: I love dogs and they seem to love me! I do not have my own dog currently but like to think of all those I watch as my own. I love to get them (and me) out for a walk especially on a beach or nearby trail. I also have a lot of experience caring for senior dogs and can match that energy level as well! If you need references I will be happy to provide them from Wallis, Teddie, Stella, Franklin, Buna, Wally, Tater, Judy, Kaya or Koda. I work from home so would not be away from your dog for more than an hour or two. If your dog likes the car, they can join me on errands/adventures. “Beth took fantastic care of our two standard poodles. Her backyard was poodle heaven. One of our spoods is pretty needy, and has some anxiety, but I didn’t worry for one moment knowing she was in Beth’s capable hands. Thank you Beth!”

“I can tell that my dog, Drake, loves going to Jackie’s house. He never hesitates to go with her. Jackie knows how to introduce new dogs to the environment and the pack. She sends many videos and updates so we always know that Drake is happy and having fun. She is flexible when it comes to drop-off and pick-up times and does her best to accommodate your particular schedule. We will continue to send Drake with Jackie whenever he e need a sitter.”

“I am so glad and grateful that Shana and Dylan watched my pup this week. I could not have asked for anyone better!! I adopted my dog less than two weeks ago and - still getting to know her - had a trip planned and needed to board her for 5 days. I was hoping for someone to treat my dog like their own and Shana and Dylan did just that. In fact, they went above and beyond what I could’ve hoped for - letting her snuggle with them at night, sending me frequent updates and pup pics, going out of their way to pick up beef and rice and cook it for my girl when her stool was soft, and packing the rest to go when I picked her up. Their dog Cleo is a sweetheart, and joined in on the doggy snuggles. I know if I ever need a sitter again I’ll be reaching out to Shana.”
