Now, every single time I ask, “Do you want to go see Ashley?!” they lose their minds with excitement—tails wagging, happy snores, the full bulldog drama. That alone tells me everything I need to know about how much they love her. Ashley creates such a safe, fun, and loving environment. She’s incredibly responsible with their medications (a few daily meds and eye drops), follows all instructions to the letter, and sends the best photo and video updates while I’m away so I never have to worry. She genuinely spends time with them—lots of play, cuddles, and supervised fun with her other well-mannered boarding dogs. When I pick them up, they’re happily exhausted from all the playtime and come home with that perfect “I had the best vacation” bulldog grin. About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.

I adopted my dog less than two weeks ago and - still getting to know her - had a trip planned and needed to board her for 5 days. I was hoping for someone to treat my dog like their own and Shana and Dylan did just that. In fact, they went above and beyond what I could’ve hoped for - letting her snuggle with them at night, sending me frequent updates and pup pics, going out of their way to pick up beef and rice and cook it for my girl when her stool was soft, and packing the rest to go when I picked her up. About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

When he arrived for his stay with them he was on an antibiotic for a gingival problem and they were very responsible regarding his meds. We could not have asked for better care. Our dog Jilly had THE BEST time with Sheila and her dog Dakota. Sheila was so thoughtful of Jilly and what would make her the most comfortable and relaxed. She took her on trail walks each day, she gave her treats and made a fire for her to snuggle up to. We were able to relax on our vacation knowing that Jilly was in such great hands. We wholeheartedly recommend her!
This was our first time boarding with Alyssa and her family. I could tell from our initial meet-and-greet that our golden would love his time with them -- and he did! During his stay, Alyssa checked in on things she wasn't sure about and sent pictures and videos of his walks, snuggles with family, and trips to parks. I could tell our boy was a happy camper! Being assured he was in good hands made it a lot easier to enjoy our time away. Highly recommend and would definitely rebook!
