Your Pet Deserves A Vacation Too
I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. Kelsey was INCREDIBLE!! I was so nervous to leave my dog but she made it as easy as it could be - she proposed a meet and greet and I immediately felt at ease and like Koda would be in good hands. She was extremely welcoming during drop off & pick up, and was incredibly accommodating knowing koda can be reactive. I think her presence actually calmed him so much so he was able to make a new doggy friend while in her care. Updates were consistent and I got lots of photos that put me at ease and allowed me to really enjoy my time away. Thank you so so much Kelsey!!

Schedule
I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs!

Safety, trust & environment
I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.
A typical day
My goal is to give your pet their own vacation experience! We go for walks around downtown Porstmouth, to the dog park, and occasionally (if car-friendly, and time permitting) to other nearby parks and trails. Dogs are welcome on the couch and snuggle time is guaranteed. If your dog likes to fetch or tug, we can explore those activities as well.
