About: Hi there, My name is Emily, and I grew up surrounded by a variety of pets—a basset hound, a Great Dane, two Jack Russell Chihuahuas, a German Shepherd, and I had a kitty cat for 16 years. I also had the pleasure of house-sitting for 3.5 months in Oxford, Maine, where I cared for an old pit bull named Loki. Living in Maine has only deepened my love for animals, and I’d love to help out with your furry friend. I’m currently a caregiver here in Maine, and part of my role includes looking after my clients' animals during the day. I’m now looking for part-time work to make some extra cash and spend more time outside. I have my own car and am flexible with time. With Maine’s beautiful nature all around, I can’t think of a better way to enjoy it than by walking dogs and caring for your pets. I’ve used Rover for years and have found some hidden gems, and Savanna is one of them. Savanna was very communicative and kept us updated with photos of their evening. Yoshi isn’t a difficult pup to watch, he’s quite lazy, but he is particular about who hangs out in his house, and there were no complaints! He loved having her here and so did we. About: Hello! My name is Amanda I am new to the Rover community, but am absolutely excited and love every type of pet! I am currently working a job 40 hours a week and am looking to pick this up on the side. I've watched neighbor's pets, my sister's dog, as well as homes for long periods of time. I am reliable, consistent, easy going, and communicative. Although I am new to this site, I have great work ethic. It's extremely hard to find a sitter you can trust and I believe I can provide that. I am open to taking your pet for walks, watching the house and/or pets, as well as stopping by and hanging with them for periods of time on the weekends as well as afternoon/evenings. I am extremely excited to get to know you and your pets! If you have any other questions please contact me directly so we can further discuss. Although I work a 40 hours a week at my normal job, I just moved to the area and I’m looking for part-time work! I get out of work between 330 and 4pm most days so the afternoons I have free and also weekends! I am unable to care for pets in my own home but safety, trust, and environment is super important to me! I will always follow instructions and Will always respect the house rules and guidelines provided.

“Mike watches my dog about once a week and has been for the last few years. He does a great job. He lets him come over to his house and my dog plays with his other dogs all day. This is kind of a unique situation as I wouldn’t expect Mike to allow all dogs at his house but he does a great job of ensuring my dog is safe, healthy, and tired by the end of the day.”
