6. Emily R.
About: Hi there, My name is Emily, and I grew up surrounded by a variety of pets—a basset hound, a Great Dane, two Jack Russell Chihuahuas, a German Shepherd, and I had a kitty cat for 16 years. I also had the pleasure of house-sitting for 3.5 months in Oxford, Maine, where I cared for an old pit bull named Loki. Living in Maine has only deepened my love for animals, and I’d love to help out with your furry friend. I’m currently a caregiver here in Maine, and part of my role includes looking after my clients' animals during the day. I’m now looking for part-time work to make some extra cash and spend more time outside. I have my own car and am flexible with time. With Maine’s beautiful nature all around, I can’t think of a better way to enjoy it than by walking dogs and caring for your pets. I would be more than happy to help out with your pet, and yes, I absolutely talk to animals! Thank you for considering me. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your fur buddy! Best regards, Emily Russell I work as a caregiver during the day - hours vary. Please message me for more information on my current schedule. Thank you so much. In my clients home - I do not offer services at my own personal home. I am fine with watching a clients pet at their home or walking them.

7. Will T.

“I love Will. He took such good care of Timber. It takes a lot to get her to warm up to you and he was so patient! Can’t wait for him to come again!”

8. Dale T.

“Dale was great! She was super friendly, Ellie loved her right away. We were very nervous as this was the first time we’d used Rover and left Ellie behind but Dale communicated every day sending us pictures and letting us know how things were going. She even cleaned up before she left so we’d come home to a nice, clean house.”

9. Caroline T.
“Caroline is my mother and every family dog I’ve had in my life, she has absolutely been their favorite person. She has so much love for the dogs that have been in her life and I have the utmost confidence that she will treat any dogs the same way. I absolutely recommend you check her out if you are looking for a dog sitter!”

10. michelle a.
“Michelle is amazing with animals. She has watched our dogs multiple times and even got our reactive dog to like her! There is never any worries when Michelle walks or watches our 2 dogs. I highly recommend her to everyone.”

11. Savanna P.

“This was our first time having Savanna watch Yoshi since since we are new to the area and it was too far of a commute for Yoshi’s previous sitter. I’ve used Rover for years and have found some hidden gems, and Savanna is one of them. Savanna was very communicative and kept us updated with photos of their evening. Yoshi isn’t a difficult pup to watch, he’s quite lazy, but he is particular about who hangs out in his house, and there were no complaints! He loved having her here and so did we. It is such a relief to find someone you trust with your pup. Highly recommend booking with Savanna. We definitely will be using her services as Yoshi’s permanent sitter! ?❤️”

12. Justina M.

“Justina stayed at our home over the holidays and took excellent care of our two dogs, Baxter and Ivy. We received updates and photographs every day, which put us at ease while we were away. Together with her daughter, the dogs had lots of time for games and even learned new tricks! We would recommend Justina to anyone looking for outstanding pet sitting.”

13. Amber Q.
“Amber is such a caring and considerate person, and it surely shows in her pet care. She's full of energy, so my pup is always happy to see her and get in plenty of walks and playtime! I highly recommend her if you're looking for a great dog sitter.”

14. Martha S.

“Martha and her other rover pup stayed in my home for a week to take care of my 13+ year old black lab Sammy. Everything was perfect, Sammy was pampered with walks, treats, pets and a new friend! The house was immaculate upon my return!”

15. Amanda R.
About: Hello! My name is Amanda I am new to the Rover community, but am absolutely excited and love every type of pet! I am currently working a job 40 hours a week and am looking to pick this up on the side. I've watched neighbor's pets, my sister's dog, as well as homes for long periods of time. I am reliable, consistent, easy going, and communicative. Although I am new to this site, I have great work ethic. It's extremely hard to find a sitter you can trust and I believe I can provide that. I am open to taking your pet for walks, watching the house and/or pets, as well as stopping by and hanging with them for periods of time on the weekends as well as afternoon/evenings. I am extremely excited to get to know you and your pets! If you have any other questions please contact me directly so we can further discuss. Although I work a 40 hours a week at my normal job, I just moved to the area and I’m looking for part-time work! I get out of work between 330 and 4pm most days so the afternoons I have free and also weekends! I am unable to care for pets in my own home but safety, trust, and environment is super important to me! I will always follow instructions and Will always respect the house rules and guidelines provided.

16. Michael S.
“Mike watches my dog about once a week and has been for the last few years. He does a great job. He lets him come over to his house and my dog plays with his other dogs all day. This is kind of a unique situation as I wouldn’t expect Mike to allow all dogs at his house but he does a great job of ensuring my dog is safe, healthy, and tired by the end of the day.”

17. Teresa H.

“Teresa did an excellent job looking after our 3 big dogs! When we met her she was unfazed by the special needs of one of the pups. On returning from our trip the dogs were happy and calm, and the house was left in pristine condition. Would definitely recommend Teresa!”

18. Emily G.

“Emily was great @ coordinating with both my mom and myself when we were both out of town (and my dog was staying with my parents.) She was able to handle my skittish little dude, and he was happy when the folks came home.”

19. Alexandria P.
“I have known Alexandria for 10 years and she has been the one person I trust most with my 7 year old Lab rescue dog and now my 8 month old kitten! My dog is always SO excited and happy to be with her. Alexandria is reliable, trustworthy and very kind! Alexandria listens and respects instructions of care and always treats my dog like it’s her very own. 10/10 recommend Alexandria to watch your most cherished pet/ baby.”

20. Anastasia E.

“She took great care of my dog, took her to Fort Foster multiple times. While I was away, she sent me plenty of pictures, got any pet supplies needed, and made sure the house was clean before she left. She was also really helpful by staying an extra night on short notice. I definitely recommend her for dog sitting.”
