She and her husband and son made Bennie part of the family, and even let him sleep in their bed, which is what he is used to at home. Veska followed directions I had left regarding feeding, walks, etc. She also went above and beyond by brushing him and even gave him a bath. He looked better when I picked him up than when I had dropped him off. I highly recommend Veska for safe loving dog care.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and cared for family and friends dogs for a very long time. Love having dogs in my life they bring so much joy. Everyday they make me laugh. Love to play fetch and walking trails. I have a two year old grandchild two days a week so dogs must be very friendly and like children. About: Kristine and Eric have loved and had animals our entire life. I have always helped care for pets, even as a child. Eric was raised on a farm, caring for many different kinds of animals- waking up before dawn to ensure that all animals were properly cared for and had what they needed for the day whether it be rain, shine, snow, sleet, hot, or cold. We, together, have two dogs. They are both around 10 years old and are rescues. We also have 6 chickens. Our home has a door from the downstairs to the upstairs. When dogs are home during the day and if left alone for 1 hour or so they stay downstairs with access to water, comfy couches, and dog bed areas. When we are home they have free run of the home. We also have a crate for dogs that may need a private, safe space. We have a back yard that our dog enjoys playing in, but just so you know it is not fenced in, therefore dogs remain leashed when in the back yard. We do have a deck that is closed off in the backyard where dogs can be left unleashed to hang out, but always supervised when out there. We also have a 15 year old daughter who loves animals. She assists with the care of our dogs and we have fostered a few dogs in the past from various shelters and she is always eager to assist with making these dogs feel comfortable and give them love. She volunteers at a local animal shelter with small mammals and takes care of the chickens I work full time during the school year for a school district. Eric works from home. Eric takes dogs for a number of walks per day including walks to the local dog park (Rogers Park) and to local beaches for exercise and socialization. I am home by 3:30 pm and bring my dogs (and other dogs) for exercise either running, hiking, or walking. In the summer I am mostly around. I also grew up with cats and with both have experience with cats and providing meds to cats, including insulin shots. I work full time and Eric works part to full time but we can walk dogs in the evening and walk dogs throughout the day on the weekends. I have summers off as I work in a school. I will not be offering care in my home, but am excited to take care of your pet and walk your dog and take your dog on adventures.
About: Over the past 35 years, we've had three dogs who lived to 13, 14 and 15 years. We are very familiar with older dogs as well as young dogs and enjoy playing with dogs. After the loss of our last dog, Lucy, we decided to take a break from having another dog as we were empty nesters. We love dogs and were encouraged by our grown children to try Rover. We live on a quiet street near the York Harbor Beach and our house is far from the road with woods all around us. I am a regular daily walker and would love to have a dog to walk with me on occasion. I am familiar with the regulations on leashes, beach hours and waste bags. We are generally home on the days we accept pet sitting to take care of any visiting dogs. We became pet sitters because we enjoy hanging out with dogs. We have a large backyard surrounded by woods far from roads as well as a home that is dog friendly. About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.

About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!

About: I was lucky enough to train at a highly established pet boarding facility for over two years, in which time I learned how to provide the best experience for all of our furry friends. About: I love all animals and have been a dog lover since birth! I have cared for dogs & cats for 5 years now and received an Associates Degree for Animal Care & Management in 2022. I have fed, bathed, supervised, administered medication, etc. to all ages and sizes of dogs and cats at my workplace. I have 4-5 days available weekly to care for your fur babies! I am willing to do walks, drop ins and occasional boarding at your home. I am unable to host pets in my own home with my own pup but would be happy to do so at yours. I am trustworthy, reliable, responsible and have a special place in my heart for all animals!
About: Hi! my name is Ally! I have grown up with dogs my whole life, from Dalmatians to Jack Russell’s. I started volunteering at the NHSPCA in high school and discovered my love for helping & animals. I am a registered nurse and looking to fuel my hobby spending time with animals. I currently work full time in Dover, NH and bring my dog Poppy into the office with me. My family had a 12 year old blind Jack Russell named Sherman who was not friendly to other animals while we were growing up, so I am used to dogs on the more complicated side. I believe every animal deserves love and attention and I hope to provide that! My schedule is flexible on the weekends. I work full time but am home by 5pm so ai can do evenings as well. I love to keep animals in their routines. Even if it’s just being with them at home. I am a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter who cares a considerable amount for all animals. I will happily care for them like my own.

“Veska is wonderful! My dog Bennie stayed with Veska for a week and she took great care of him. Veska is gentle and kind, and Bennie loves her. She and her husband and son made Bennie part of the family, and even let him sleep in their bed, which is what he is used to at home. Veska followed directions I had left regarding feeding, walks, etc. She also went above and beyond by brushing him and even gave him a bath. He looked better when I picked him up than when I had dropped him off. I highly recommend Veska for safe loving dog care.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and cared for family and friends dogs for a very long time. Love having dogs in my life they bring so much joy. Everyday they make me laugh. Love to play fetch and walking trails. I have a two year old grandchild two days a week so dogs must be very friendly and like children. I will be available to start in home doggie day care on Sept 28th. I have two labs of my own. They are very friendly and will love to play with your dog inside a roomy home and fenced in yard.
