“Marena has watched our 80lb Bernese Mountain a dog on multiple occasions for quick walks or even a few hours of socialization while we were away. She always is punctual and understands the needs of animals on a social level as well! Respects boundaries and our dog is always happy. She texts us photos of her during their walks and will also help with training and positive re-inforcement if we ask! She even was available to pick up watch our dog at 5am during a family emergency until arrangements could be made on short notice. Couldn’t recommend higher for a walker/sitter!”

About: I completely fell in love with dogs the moment I laid my eyes on my first family dog, Benny! Since then I’ve had multiple dogs and had the opportunity to take care of a bunch more for friends and family. I am a student at The University of New Hampshire and I currently work as a marketing intern for a non-profit foundation called American Dog Society, the first national charity that focuses on preventative and proactive care by educating dog parents on the responsibilities of owning a dog, with the goal of reducing the number of dogs in shelters and/or put down. I joined the company because it breaks my heart seeing dogs suffer in any capacity, and my goal is to be able to continue working with them as my career grows. After years of taking care of my own dogs I have gained tremendous insight as to what it takes to care for them. Most of my experience has been caring for big and heavy dogs but I have had plenty of experience with smaller dogs as well. I am looking for a way to do what I love while working! During the Summer I will be available almost every single day at any point I am needed throughout the day, and if I am lucky enough to receive some long-term recurring customers, I will be available on weekends and specific weekday times in the fall and winter! I can do whatever is asked of me. I am comfortable walking, feeding, bathing, bring him/her places, I am young and strong and good with big dogs who pull a little, I can avoid other dogs if needed, whatever is needed I am pretty easy going!
