She has been watching my two English bulldogs, Winston and Bentley, for over a year now whenever I travel, and she is hands-down the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. From the moment we met her, both boys were instantly smitten. Now, every single time I ask, “Do you want to go see Ashley?!” they lose their minds with excitement—tails wagging, happy snores, the full bulldog drama. That alone tells me everything I need to know about how much they love her. Ashley creates such a safe, fun, and loving environment. She’s incredibly responsible with their medications (a few daily meds and eye drops), follows all instructions to the letter, and sends the best photo and video updates while I’m away so I never have to worry. She genuinely spends time with them—lots of play, cuddles, and supervised fun with her other well-mannered boarding dogs. When I pick them up, they’re happily exhausted from all the playtime and come home with that perfect “I had the best vacation” bulldog grin. About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. About: Over the past 35 years, we've had three dogs who lived to 13, 14 and 15 years. We are very familiar with older dogs as well as young dogs and enjoy playing with dogs. After the loss of our last dog, Lucy, we decided to take a break from having another dog as we were empty nesters. We love dogs and were encouraged by our grown children to try Rover. We live on a quiet street near the York Harbor Beach and our house is far from the road with woods all around us. I am a regular daily walker and would love to have a dog to walk with me on occasion. I am familiar with the regulations on leashes, beach hours and waste bags. We are generally home on the days we accept pet sitting to take care of any visiting dogs. We became pet sitters because we enjoy hanging out with dogs. We have a large backyard surrounded by woods far from roads as well as a home that is dog friendly. About: Dogs have been my passion for 30 years. I have had all types of breeds - tiny to giant and have adopted all of my babies. I am experienced with giving special medical care and medications including injections as several of my kids have had severe illnesses. I believe there are no bad dogs, just dogs who express themselves differently. Would love to meet your four-legged family and help make them happy. My day rates are based on an 8 hr day. Rates for after 8 hrs can be discussed. I work from home and have a flexible schedule which allows me time during the day to provide the attention needed for walks and potty break. Happy to take dogs and give them a little oceanside retreat 😃 Dogs can go in and out as they please into our fenced in yard. Happy to take them on walks down to the beach if that is desired. We work from home so your animal will have plenty of company throughout the day. We do not have any other dogs or cats in our home.

I’m currently a freelance graphic designer/creative strategist and am generally available on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Wednesdays are possibilities if given enough notice. Before booking a new client, I request that we schedule an in-person meet and greet. This makes it easier to build trust, as not all animals are instantly at ease with an unfamiliar person in their home. It also helps me learn specific details pertaining to my visit. I try to match your pet's routine as best as possible. This means learning what time they're used to eating, what their favorite activities or toys are, and any other preferences they may have. Overall, I strive to care for clients' pets as I do my own animals. This means lots of love, pictures, and regular updates to ensure you know how they're doing. And, as a guest in your home, I promise to leave everything as orderly and clean as it was when I arrived!
About: I have been taking care of dogs for a long time, from taking care of my own two dogs to helping out my friends and there pets. My family and friends trust me with there pets and all their needs, anything from walking their dogs to just cuddling with them! I am currently working part time Monday through Friday tell 10am. After that I am free the rest of the afternoon and evenings. On weekends I am generally free all day. In a clients home I will pay close attention to detail and what the client is expecting and trusting me with. I will respect the clients home and attend to their pets needs!

About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.
