“Devin was amazing! He watched my son’s two dogs for 3 days while he was out of town for a family event They are strong energetic dogs, a pit Bull and a pit/catahoula mix, and they loved Devin. He kept us informed, took great pictures, long walks and was extremely reliable and trustworthy. We would definitely use Devin again and highly recommend him. It’s obvious he loves dogs and knows how to handle them.”

“Deana was wonderful with Oggi. Had her for a week to help out while I worked & he loved her. Professional, on time, followed all instructions & attentive noticing when he got tired or the heat was a bit much for him. If you want someone who will care for your fur baby I recommend her”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have loved working with Rover doing boarding, walking, and sitting. My fiancé and I live in a split-level home with a fenced backyard—plenty of space for playtime and lounging. We don’t have pets right now or kids, so your pup gets all the love and attention! One of us is always home (my fiancé works remotely), and we’re comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. We live in a quiet, walk-friendly neighborhood, and we love staying active with our furry guests. Your dog will be treated like family—with lots of snuggles, playtime, and regular updates for you. Can’t wait to meet your pup! I'm a grad student who's home most of the time, and my fiancé works remotely, so your pet will always have company. I provide daily walks, plenty of attention, and bathroom breaks as often as needed. Caring for animals is a top priority in our routine, and your pet will be treated like family! I believe all living things deserve kindness and respect, and I’ll go above and beyond to make sure every pet in my care feels happy and comfortable. I’m committed to following all food, medication, and routine needs exactly as requested to keep your pet feeling safe and at home—whether they're staying with me or I’m coming to you.
About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Very familiar with various breeds and ages. I have one pomsky dog myself who is 4 years old and very friendly. Currently work from home so am able to be with your dog 24/7 while under my care. I work remotely so I am able to be home all day, giving plenty of attention to your fur baby. I also live across the street from the levee and go on at least two hour long walks a day with my dog. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog myself who would love some friends to play with. My home is structured so they have plenty of room inside to run around as well. I allow my dog on the sofa and in my bed!
“Chloe is dedicated to walking my pup who loves her. She braves all weather conditions and schedule changes with a good attitude. My dog Sophie gets the zoomies after every walk.”

About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.

About: I've had several years of experience taking care of dogs, hamsters, and even the elderly. I worked for PETCO and routinely maintained the health and happiness of all the pets we housed. Now, my sister and I take care of the neighborhood cats and chickens when they come and visit. I currently work at my own time so anytime is perfect for me. Unless I am helping another client, your services will be no problem!
About: I have always been passionate about animals and grew up being a "Dog Girl". I would opt to study dog breeds before bed instead of bed time stories and quiz my parents on walks and car rides. I've cared for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Yorkies, and French Bulldogs all the way up to Giant Schnauzers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Labradoodles! Once I moved out on my own and moved into a studio apartment I realized that I may not have room physically for a dog but I would be able to help out cats who are waiting for their furever homes. I have been fostering cats for 5 years and have been able to help cats in both Chicago and New Orleans acclimate to home life as they await their adoption. I have "Foster Failed" and do have my own cat, Dolly, who is my constant companion. I often care for my friends animals in the area and look forward to meeting your fury family member! I do have blocks of time through out the day where I can check in and spend time with your fur baby. I have a pretty flexible schedule but it does fluctuate. I would be able to work with your animal's schedule but it will depend sometimes week to week or month to month. I have a lot of free time in early morning, around lunch and late evenings every day with most days having free afternoons and/or evenings. I will not be hosting animals in my home at this time but I do have space for animals as I often foster shelter cats in my home.
About: Growing up, I had two huge retired racing greyhounds, so high prey drives and tug of war are no problem for me. In recent years, I’ve discovered a love for cats and all of their unique personalities. No matter the animal, I can give them the care they need! I work from home for myself. My open schedule means I can dedicate my full attention to the animal in my care as they need it. I provide a safe, comfortable environment whether in your home or mine. I stick to your pet’s routine, offering daily walks, playtime, and plenty of affection.
“Karlin was amazing. She was able to do a last minute meet and greet with our dogs. Thank you Karlin for taking Tank on nice long walk and verifying their water levels at the house. Hopefully Tank and your dog get to meet one day for play dates. He has so much energy and needed that walk. We will be using you in the future!”

“This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention provided to my puppy, Mickey, by Keyona. Mickey was immediately comfortable with her. Key was punctual, reliable, and genuinely seems to love dogs. She brought over a leash for me to try that stops the problem I have with Mickey pulling during our walks. I truly appreciate that she read his bio and was prepared to help. When she returned for the walk he was even more excited when she arrived with her sweet dog. Mickey loves other dogs and this was a treat for him. I also appreciate the updates and photos after the walk — it gives me peace of mind knowing my dog is safe, happy, and getting good exercise.”

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
About: Passionate pet sitter committed to personalized care. Years of experience providing compassionate care, ensuring tails wag and purrs persist. I've worked with the SPCA, neighbors, and my own furry companions. Your pet's well-being is my priority! I’m a full-time petsitter so have flexibility to accommodate your schedule. I’m available during business hours or after hours for those requiring extra special care. I have a secured home where pets can roam, and a fully-fenced backyard. Depending on your specific needs, your pets could spend time with me indoors, on walks, at the dog park, and with me in the backyard, if weather permits. Pet camera shared with you while you pooch rests while you're away.
“Rebecca was a great match for our boy. He loved her immediately. She arrived on time, took plenty of pictures, and gave the walking distance needed to burn some of his energy off while I was away. Will book again.”
