About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs pets. My dog is deaf and I have learned to communicate with her. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. This is my full-time job and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service for sittings, walks and drop-in visits. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

During my time as an officer I have taken care of so many animals from fostering them through my shelter or pet sitting through family , friends and clients. I could train your pet to respond to basic commands or become potty trained. I work full time, but as an Animal Control officer I patrol the streets and respond to calls which allows me to be super flexible to take care of your pet. About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.
