Back on Rover as of 2026! I'm an experienced pet owner and dog walker. I grew up with both dogs & cats and have experience training puppies, following medication schedules to older pets, and being adaptable to whatever the individual pet needs. Every dog or cat is different, so I prioritize listening closely to the owners to what they say their specific needs & routines are. I'm also a great communicator and am big on sending over photos of your pet while I'm watching them if so desired :)

In clients homes, I make sure to get any needed instructions beforehand from the client about how to best care for their pet (whether this involves regular walking routines, medications, feeding schedules, vet's numbers, etc.). I'm big on clear communication, so I also make sure the pet owner is never left in the dark about anything that may arise with their pet! I also listen closely to any instructions regarding entering/leaving the home & any house rules, and make sure to clarify anything that is unclear to me.

I cannot recommend Sophia highly enough. She has been incredibly trustworthy, reliable, and warm to work with. Her love for animals is deep, genuine, and abundantly evident in the way she treats my dog with love, care, and play. Fifi always comes home happy and ready to rest, and the joyful way she greets Sophia when she returns says it all. 10/10.
Sophia was very sweet with Reese and even took the time to come by beforehand to do a walkthrough with my pups routine.
Sophia is an incredibly attentive and responsible pet caregiver. She is sensitive to each pet’s needs, adaptable to almost any situation and always treats pets with the utmost care and respect. She has taken care of my pet several times and always provides thorough and sweet updates. I also know the many relationships Sophia has built in our community through her incredible skill set as a pet caregiver!
I hired Sophia as a sitter for my 4 year old cocker spaniel Lulu. Communication with Sophia has always been seamless, she responds within a few minutes any time I reached out. She a natural care and love for animals that I noticed upon meeting her. She has sat for our family a couple times now, and we will continue to work with her when we go out of town.
Sophia is such a loving a responsible caregiver in my dog's life. She has a natural way with her, and sees her best qualities as well as her needs. I feel so safe and comfortable when Sophia is around my pup.
Sophia is one of the most caring people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. When we first met, I vividly remember that she had just finished providing long-term care for an elderly dog belonging to a neighbor, and that she was moved and teary-eyed when it came time for the two of them to part ways. Any animal that gets to spend a day, a week, or a lifetime basking in Sophia's tender and gentle care is better off for it. Highly recommend Sophia and her beautiful heart!

Schedule
I work from home most of the time, so can easily fit watching dogs into my schedule. I have reliable transportation, so being able to cross town is also no problem for me. Depending on what the dogs needs are, I can adapt my work-from-home schedule to meet those routines.
