Now, my sister and I take care of the neighborhood cats and chickens when they come and visit. I currently work at my own time so anytime is perfect for me. About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Very familiar with various breeds and ages. I have one pomsky dog myself who is 4 years old and very friendly. Currently work from home so am able to be with your dog 24/7 while under my care. I work remotely so I am able to be home all day, giving plenty of attention to your fur baby. I also live across the street from the levee and go on at least two hour long walks a day with my dog. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog myself who would love some friends to play with. My home is structured so they have plenty of room inside to run around as well. I allow my dog on the sofa and in my bed!

While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.
