About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Very familiar with various breeds and ages. I have one pomsky dog myself who is 4 years old and very friendly. Currently work from home so am able to be with your dog 24/7 while under my care. I work remotely so I am able to be home all day, giving plenty of attention to your fur baby. I also live across the street from the levee and go on at least two hour long walks a day with my dog. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog myself who would love some friends to play with. My home is structured so they have plenty of room inside to run around as well. I allow my dog on the sofa and in my bed!

I grew up on a small farm in North Carolina where I was constantly surrounded by animals: horses, chickens, pigs, cows, honey bees, goats, cats, and--of course--DOGS! Not only do I have a lot of experience with animals due to my upbringing, I grew up volunteering and fostering dogs for a North Carolina Humane Society. I also spent two years working as a dog walker, trainer, and caretaker for an ethical goldendoodle breeder. About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home.
