About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

I share this home with Betsey, an incredibly sweet five-year-old Labrador Retriever. I’m available and actively involved in your dog’s enrichment and overall experience. I’m active and attentive. Betsey and I are affectionate and accommodating. We love walks, parks, toys, treats, and cuddling. We think your dog will love spending time with us.

About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. Currently, I’m a college student. I can’t do Mondays from 2 to 5 but other than that I can do any day at any time I’d rather stay away from nighttime services for my safety. I have a fenced yard so plenty of room for them to play. I am a retired pup owner, so I would suggest you bring food and toys, but I will take care of them with all love and care and have fun!
