“Noah is AMAZING! Very much self directed and the only person I've hired who was able to both arm and disarm the alarm in their own. I was able to really enjoy my time away. My dogs love Noah.”

“Daphne is communicative, prompt, kind, and loves our dog as much as we do. She leaves detailed notes and takes lots of pictures, too. I absolutely recommend booking with her!”

“We love and trust her as does our golden. She is reliable and punctual. We ask for her help at least once a week- twice a day, and she feeds our pup, takes her on a walk, plays with her, and loves on her. Lindsay is the equivalent of having either my spouse or myself home- what more could you ask for….”

“Laura was amazing with my anxious boy! She was patient, gentle, encouraging and flexible. She adjusts her approach entirely based on the personality and mood of the dog she works with, and consequently my dog is in love with her!”

“This is the second week we are using Courtney as our pup daily walker. She has been amazing, super responsible, responsive and made sure our pup gets the best care while in her hands. We highly recommend Courtney!”

“Robin was amazing! My dog, Leo, and I were in town for a work trip. Robin walked Leo while I was in meetings, and I know he had the best time. She took the most amazing pictures of him! I will definitely be using Robin again when we are back in New Orleans!”

About: I have always been passionate about animals and grew up being a "Dog Girl". I would opt to study dog breeds before bed instead of bed time stories and quiz my parents on walks and car rides. I've cared for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Yorkies, and French Bulldogs all the way up to Giant Schnauzers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Labradoodles! Once I moved out on my own and moved into a studio apartment I realized that I may not have room physically for a dog but I would be able to help out cats who are waiting for their furever homes. I have been fostering cats for 5 years and have been able to help cats in both Chicago and New Orleans acclimate to home life as they await their adoption. I have "Foster Failed" and do have my own cat, Dolly, who is my constant companion. I often care for my friends animals in the area and look forward to meeting your fury family member! I do have blocks of time through out the day where I can check in and spend time with your fur baby. I have a pretty flexible schedule but it does fluctuate. I would be able to work with your animal's schedule but it will depend sometimes week to week or month to month. I have a lot of free time in early morning, around lunch and late evenings every day with most days having free afternoons and/or evenings. I will not be hosting animals in my home at this time but I do have space for animals as I often foster shelter cats in my home.
“Deana was fantastic. She showed up on time, had a bubbly and friendly personality, was very communicative and efficient and warm with the pups. One of my dogs is really smart and judgmental and she immediately rolled on her back for pets and scratches and wagged her tail as soon as Deana walked up (and was a total stranger to her). I highly recommend her and we will use her again!”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have loved working with Rover doing boarding, walking, and sitting. My fiancé and I live in a split-level home with a fenced backyard—plenty of space for playtime and lounging. We don’t have pets right now or kids, so your pup gets all the love and attention! One of us is always home (my fiancé works remotely), and we’re comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. We live in a quiet, walk-friendly neighborhood, and we love staying active with our furry guests. Your dog will be treated like family—with lots of snuggles, playtime, and regular updates for you. Can’t wait to meet your pup! I'm a grad student who's home most of the time, and my fiancé works remotely, so your pet will always have company. I provide daily walks, plenty of attention, and bathroom breaks as often as needed. Caring for animals is a top priority in our routine, and your pet will be treated like family! I believe all living things deserve kindness and respect, and I’ll go above and beyond to make sure every pet in my care feels happy and comfortable. I’m committed to following all food, medication, and routine needs exactly as requested to keep your pet feeling safe and at home—whether they're staying with me or I’m coming to you.
About: Fall Services Sale: Drop in and dog walk deal busters! For a temporary period of time I am offering a promotional discount to my dog walking, running, drop-in, and pet-mento services. TLDR; Reliable, experienced pet care with a personal touch. Dog jogger. Plus optional photo and video add-ons to capture your pet’s best moments Hi! I’m Matt. Big animal lover and lifelong dog person here. I grew up in a corgi-loving family, and the current “reigning corgi” is Henry — small dog, big personality packed into that loaf of bread. I’ve been around animals my whole life and know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. Whether it’s a before-sunrise walk, an overnight stay, or just company while you’re away, I treat every pet like my own. I pay attention to their comfort, energy, and quirks because every animal has their own personality, and I love getting to know them. Pets deserve genuine, personalized care — not just a quick walk around the block. I follow your routines, give plenty of attention and playtime, stay alert to their mood and needs, and provide updates so you always know how they’re doing. I also have a passion for photography and video editing. If you’d like, I can film a short “day in the life” video of your pet with my GoPro and iPhone setup — complete with fun edits, music, and photos. It’s a unique keepsake and totally optional add-on for any booking. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness come first — and I aim to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. . Im available at all hours. I available for contact when needed. I can do last minute drop-in like you would call your family member or friend. I follow and care for the pet as instructed by their owner and I respect the rules of their home. I always make sure the dog is on a leash when walking and the necessary cleanup, either in the backyard or on a walk.
“Kat was fantastic! We made a schedule for twice daily walks of my beagle mix Philippe while I recovered from surgery. Some days I was in such pain I'd ask her to feed Philippe so I wouldn't have to come downstairs. She was just perfect and Philippe loved her! Couldn't recommend anyone more!”

About: My little pal from my profile picture, Jake, has moved out and I miss the joy of having a pup around so I would love to care for your pal. I have plenty of experience caring for both my own dogs, as well as foster dogs and those of friends and family. My mom actually has 8 dogs that I help care for when she needs a helping hand. I have a very flexible schedule and work from home sometimes, so I will be available for midday walks or home visits. My availability is open for walks, home visits, and overnight care. I look forward to meeting you and your four legged pals! My schedule is very flexible and usually under 30 hours a week, so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with some four legged friends! My home is a condo with a fenced area in a very dog friendly neighborhood in the city. I’ll mention that there stairs as well in case there are any pets that can’t make that climb. However, they are good for playing with high energy dogs. I enjoy snuggling and walking.

“Lindsey has been great to work with. She is quick to respond to messages, conscientious of my dogs’ needs, responsible, and trustworthy. I love the pictures she sends from the walks. I’m glad I picked her to take care of my two furbabies.”

Lower Garden District dog parents share their Rover experiences
Just amazing!! Laura was so great I felt so at ease knowing my baby was with her!! Daisy pooped for her multiple times which a big deal in our household! Loved how sweet she was with her and that she didn’t mind Daisy’s little quirks. Will use her again in a heart beat ! My approval but most importantly Daisy’s approval! Great communication as well! Loved how close she was to my house too! Could not have asked for anything better !

Margarida has walked my dog multiple times now through Rover and always does a great job of keeping me updated with pictures and videos. She’s dependable, communicates well, and has been available even in last minute situations. I know my dog is well cared for when she’s with him. I would recommend her to anyone needing a dog walker!

River and Jax are now buddies and I appreciate the patience and care he showed Jax. Jax tends to have his own ideas of who and when to bark but River's kindness and training is helping Jax a great deal. I'm grateful I decided to sign on. When I return from a trip I will be scheduling River on a regular basis and I trust that we'll work together with Jax! Thank you, River, for your exceptional care!!!
Robin is caring and detail oriented. The dogs love her and so do we. And she always sends us the best pictures of their walks. We have used Robin to House sit as well as occasional walks when we are out of town for the day. I would happily recommend Robin to take care of your dogs!

Leora was so wonderful with Jess, who can be high energy and is generally extra excited to explore the world outside. Leora took her time to say hello for as long as Jess needed and it seemed like they had the most wonderful time together. Will definitely book again! Thank you!

We brought our dogs down for the first and needed a last minute sitter. Sherryanne was quick to respond and so easy to work with. She also did a meet and greet before we started the dog walk sessions to get familiar with the dogs. Highly recommend leaving your pups in her care.

Joey and Bodhi made an awesome duo! Joey is prompt, positive, a true dog lover, and an awesome communicator. He took Bodhi all over the city, showing him new sights and setting the bar high for any future sitter. It’s clear Bodhi misses him—he was such a great influence and brought out the best in my pup. It would be an honor to work with Joey again. Highly recommend!
