About: I have had dogs in my life since i was 11 years old (27 years). Last october i had to say goodbye to my companion of 11 years, Wanda. I am not ready for another dog of my own and want to be around your dogs as much as possible. I believe in reciprocal relational dynamics between humans and dogs are the best approach to training and trust, not dominance and control. I would like to care for your dog by building a relationship with them based on their personality and needs. Would love to meet you and your dog! I am currently a self-employed carpenter and bee keeper. My schedule is very flexible and i can work with you and your dogs schedule and needs. I live in a household with 3 other dogs who are my roommates', so I cannot board at my home, but am more than happy and available for caring for them at yours. I am good with all size and age of dogs.
About: I’ve been an animal lover & caretaker since childhood, and I regularly care for friends & neighbors’ pets. My client experience includes dogs & cats of varying ages, breeds, special needs, and personalities; whatever your fur baby’s needs may be, I’m ready to make sure they are well cared for 🐶🐱🫶🏻 I currently have a very flexible work from home schedule so I’ve plenty of time to watch your pets. I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits M-F; afternoon & evening vists Sat & Sun. Overnight services also available. I strive to maintain your pet’s normal home routine as much as possible to help minimize their stress, from walks to playtime to litterbox maintenance. I can also administer pills & topical medications if needed.
About: I've had 2 cats and raised a corgi (including potty training). I love the win / win situation with walking dogs - healthy for both of us. I like jogging with them for short distances during the walk (if they're not too senior), and giving them lots of affection! I part-time teach at a college (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and work from home so it's a perfect fit for taking the pup out for a walk. I show them lots of attention and pets. I can also crate your dog if need be. I know the importance of routine with animals, so I'm good at sticking to schedules eating and walking times.
“Angela did a terrific job walking my dog. She was prompt and flexible with start times. She even walked him in the cold rain one day! I would definitely hire her again as a dog walker to help me out.”
“Rebecca was a great match for our boy. He loved her immediately. She arrived on time, took plenty of pictures, and gave the walking distance needed to burn some of his energy off while I was away. Will book again.”

About: I have taken care of dog cats and animals ever since I can remember. As a child, a teenager and college student, I had a monopoly on taking care of my Neighbor’s pets. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior dogs, multiple animals and even birds. I prioritize Service and Care and don’t like to keep you guessing. I value communication while you are away from your pets. I currently do freelance contract work, sometimes from home, and sometimes from other locations around New Orleans. I have a flexible schedule with periods of time to easily step away and spend time with your dog or cat! I have three cats and a sizeable fenced in yard. Your pet’s health, safety and comfort is the highest priority to me. I can’t wait to meet them!
“Chloe is dedicated to walking my pup who loves her. She braves all weather conditions and schedule changes with a good attitude. My dog Sophie gets the zoomies after every walk.”

“Lynda is excellent! She is super communicative and Roxy loves her! It was great to know our pup was in good hands while we were out and we really appreciated the photo and video updates. We’ll absolutely reach out to Lynda again next time we have a need for care.”

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life. My mom is a biologist so she taught me from a very young age how every living thing has a soul and a place in this world. She would pick up mice and spiders that got into our home with her hands and take them outside (instead of killing them). Needless to say, I am very comfortable around animals. I’ve had dogs and cats as pets my whole life and I consider myself pretty good with them, even when meeting stray cats or other people’s dogs in the street; I am very patient with them and always let them feel confident with me before I pet them. I have never house-sat for dogs before but I have taken care of roommate’s and friend’s dogs while they are at work or out of town, feeding them, and taking them for walks, etc. I have house-sat for my mom’s cat before (at the end of 2021, actually, for her birthday) which you can read about in my testimonials. Full-disclosure – I’m currently looking for a part-time job so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a car so I can drive over to you, just let me know what your daily and weekly needs are so we can figure out a schedule :) I’m currently not allowed to have any fur babies at my apartment so I will give your pups all the attention and play-time they want. Like I said above, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace but, of course, take care of their basic needs like food, water, and walks. Just let me know how they do with other dogs on the street and with other humans – if they’re shy, really energetic, etc.
About: Loving animals has always come naturally to me. Throughout most of my life, I've taken care of a wide variety of pets, including dogs, fish, cats, hamsters, reptiles, you name it!! I have fostered animals and always had my own pets. I currently have my own dogs, cat, and pet crawfish and I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave them. When someone in my circle needs a pet sitter, they usually call me. I’d love to bring you peace of mind during your trip, knowing your babies are in good hands. Let me be their best friend while you’re away. I am a remote clinical social worker with flexible hours. I love spending my free time snuggling cats and walking dogs. I often am working out of the home for only a few hours each day. I follow pet parents’ instructions to the letter. As a fellow pet parent, I know that sometimes our requests feel silly, “Lucy needs to have pretend seasoning added to her food so she’ll eat it.” I’m here to reassure you that I get it! It’s not silly! Your Lucy deserves to feel as little disruption to her daily life as possible while you’re away. If you need a walker or drop in sitter, I am happy to follow any and all instructions. I also pride myself on staying up to date on best practices for both dog and cat care.
About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
